I just wanted to know if anyone has heard the rumor that 98 DEGREES is going to be making a new cd together sometime next year. I thought I read in on one of the nick fan websites or the internet somewhere. If its true that would be cool.

Yeah - All 4 members of the group have mentioned (particularly since they filmed the Christmas special together) getting back in the studio to do a group album - but the timeline for it is unknown (i've heard late this year before they'd actually make it into the studio).

i think it might have been too long for them to come back, but i hope i'm wrong. i mean even though i never saw them as a boy band most people thought they were and the time for that is pretty much over for most people. but i desperately miss new music from them.

'cause i know i haven't. i want the guys to get back together as much as you guys do. lord knows i'd give almost anything to go to a concert of theirs. but as far as bsb goes and destiny's child goes, i really haven't heard much more about them either. i dunno guys i mean it seems the age of groups has disappeared unless it's like actual bands. but here's to hoping.

I think we may need to see if Justin J does well in the election in the Queen City before we find out much more, sooooooooooo my 98-fanness says I don't want him doing well so he'll have time to do the whole record an album and promote it thing ;)

Nick's obviously a moron (or his wife's idiocy has zapped his brain cells) - if Justin manages to WIN the election (and Kookier things have happened) - his butt is gonna need to stay in 'natti to do his job. He wouldn't be able to do the promotions an album would require. Granted he would be able to do some travelling - but not to the extent that a musical group who's trying to build a fanbase would have too (and considering the length of their break - they pretty much need to re-start the building).
