okay i'm gonna sound like an absolute nut but for some reason yesterday while i was at work i started thinking about starting a wedding singer business. kooky huh? i don't know i thought it would be cool to sing at people's weddings but who would hire me. i'm not worth much anyway, and aside from all that it would take a lot of money to advertise and well people would have to like to hear me sing for it to work.

anyway i'm just rambling don't mind me lmao.

To save money you could make flyers yourself and just place them at places that people are normally at... next to other flyers or newspapers. You can also make a website that has clips of your songs... advertise on the web (ex: friends sites) or your signature on message boards that you post on.

i've thought about those. i have. i just don't know. i think it was one of those spur of the moment thoughts but i think i'm kind of past it now i don't know. it sounds cool but like i said i doubt i could make very good use of it.

yeah but this is so different. i mean it's the biggest day of their lives, i'm a complete stranger with no credibility and there's no reason they would have to just look at the flyer and go hmm that sounds like a good idea.

But some people are LOOKING for a soloist, singer for their weddings - and you are the answer to the problem dork. Obviously, people who have friends/family members who sing wouldn't probably bother with it - but not everyone knows someone who can sing.

most people do, and most people usually look within their group of friends and family for it. and how am i the answer to their problem if they don't know how well i'd do. i don't know about you but i'm not sure i would trust a flyer to tell me who to sing at my wedding :P.
