Backstreet Boys Still Got Jive

Rumors are circulating that the Backstreet Men Boys are about to get dumped by Jive Records. NOT true.

TMZ talked with a Jive Records spokesperson who told us, "Reports about Jive Records dropping Backstreet Boys (http://www.backstreetboys.com/) are completely untrue. The group is about to embark on a worldwide tour in support of their album, Unbreakable, starting Feb. 16 in Toyko, as well as some high profile television appearances."

I haven't had a chance to get the album yet, but will when I get some extra cash for things besides bills. It's weird for me not to have it yet. The album came out with a lot of heavy hitters on 10/30..the Eagles, Brit ( I think and Carrie) along with my other love Avenged Sevenfold...all who had wonderful promotion and support. I know that A7X promoted thier butts off for the S/T album whereas I didn't see BSB or hear of them doing so that much. I hope that they won't get dropped, especially witht the tour.

it was promoed enough. boy bands died out in 2002 and no one listens to them anymore. they aren't sellable anymore. it was a era, bsb's one cd alone sold 37 million copies, so they should be satisfied with that.
