Nick Lachey Tries The Hard Easy

Nick Lachey (Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica, Charmed) has signed on for a role in the independent film The Hard Easy, which is shooting in Los Angeles, says The Hollywood Reporter. The film also stars Henry Thomas, David Boreanaz, Vera Farmiga, Bruce Dern and Peter Weller.

The story follows two groups of thieves who, unbeknownst to each other, attempt to rob the same jewelry store. Lachey will play a guy who gets out of his tough neighborhood to become a high-powered accountant. However, he winds up on the verge of losing it all and teams with one of the groups - led by Weller's character - to help out in the heist.

The heist movie, written by Jon Lindstrom and Tom Schanley, is being directed by Ari Ryan.

I just read the article on JSMB and it mentioned that it is going to be on the big screen. My family will be in line to see his performance. I hope he does well. Hooray for Nick! He is finally getting out of the house. Way to go Nick-n-ator!!!!

*sighs* i have mixed feelings about this lol. i've always wondered how it would be for a person barely even known for their singing career to get into the acting biz. we'll see how it goes. i can't say i'll go see it, not until i know more about the movie.
