PEOPLE got its hands on snippets of four songs from Britney Spears (http://www.people.com/people/britney_spears)'s much-talked-about new album, Blackout. (Hear the tracks below.)

The disc is due out Oct. 30 (http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20152145,00.html) – two weeks earlier than initially planned because of concerns over Internet leaks. Her label, Jive, is now taking matters into its own hands, releasing an audio player with the official versions of the songs "Radar," "Piece of Me," "Break the Ice" and "Heaven."

I already listened to this. I won't be buying her CD but I don't think the CD is a complete trainwreck after listening to the songs. They have good beats but no real substance. If you like that, you'll like the CD.

I seen a commercial for this album while I was watching E! News. They advertised it for 9.99.
I think it sounds good.
She seems to be targeting the teen-twenty somethings with the pop/club/techno beat thats in her songs.
I think alot of people will buy it and enjoy it. Then there will be those who have already decided that Britney sucks and wont.
I guess that is up to he person and what type of music they like to listen to.
Personally, the beats in her songs sound good to me and they would pick up quickly. Maybe not all on the radio but elsewhere as well.
But, thats just my opinion.
I heard this song a few weeks ago and I like it because of the beat.

Infact, if she had done her thing and actually worked with Timbaland, it would be better. That is what he does will all the other artists and lots of people like it.
