It was your average Thursday afternoon. The people at the E! News Live office were lively and bustling, trying to out all the material together for another show. In the mist of all this, was a woman by the name of C[arse]idy Kensington. She had zoned out, just for a few precious moments, since at this job, you had to be on your feet almost al the time.
C[arse]idy was your average 27 year old, with friendly green eyes, blond hair and about average height. She had majored in journalism in college, and had many jobs over the years, but now, here in LA… she was pretty content.
After she got off at 5, she had to go pick up her 10-year-old daughter Crystal, form basketball practice, take her home and set her up with Jenna, their teenage neighbor who watched Crystal, and was friends with both of them, snd then get ready to go out to dinner with her three new friends, Nicole, Megan, and Arista.
“All right, C[arse], snap out of lala land” she told herself “You got a job to finish. Then you can worry about all those other things”

She got off at 5, just as she had planned and drove to Crystal’s school, where she was patiently waiting. “Hi Cris” C[arse]idy said, smiling, as she got in the car and kissed her cheek.
“Hey Mom” she said, smiling. “Practice was great today. I hit two-three pointers!”
“All right, awesome! How was the rest of school?”
“Fine, nothing out of the ordinary happened” Crystal paused “How about your job? Anything exciting?”
“Not really, just average. Working for an entertainment new show ain’t all glamour, you know”
“I know. Don’t you ever wish you could be in front of the camera like Jon or Alisha?”
C[arse]idy nodded “I would… but I like where I am, for now. This is the best life we’ve had in a few years and I hope it stays this way”
“So do I” Then the car fell in the comfortable silence.

After taking Crystal home and refreshing her look, C[arse]idy started driving to the restaurant. She been living in Los Angles for 6 months but honestly, it was the happiest she’d been in years. She had 3 great friends who genuinely cared about her, (unlike some others), she was working at her dream job and having the time of her life, and she was happily single. “Now,” she thought “Let’s go in and gossip with the girls”

Allrighty, whoever wants to add next, can :)

Arista Conway pulled into the parking lot of the elementry school she'd enrolled her daughter Abby in and cut the ignition of her 2000 Ford Escape. She got out and pulled her hair into a messy bun and then made her way into the school gym where the afterschool program was set up. She smiled when she said her little girl over in a corner with another little boy, trying to explain the logistics of basketball. The real logistics.

Arista shook her head as she walked over to the kindergarten teacher who was there.

"Hi Mrs. Kensington."
"Hello there Ms. Conway, here for Abby?"
"I am." She adjusted her sungl[arse]es so they weren't about to slide down in her face. "I'll get her. Just thought I'd let you know I'm takin' her." Mrs. Kensington nodded and turned to help a little girl fix her shoe.

"Hey Abs."
"Mommy!" the little girl squealed and ran to her mother. Arista smiled and picked up her little girl.
"Ready to go Babes?" Abby shook her head and they left the gym.

Once they were home, Abby changed out of the jean skirt she'd worn to school and sat in front of the tv.

"Abby, come in here..."
"Yes Mommy.." She sat in her chair at the table
"Mommy's going out tonight with a few friends...Nick's going to come to watch you. You can watch Nemo..."
"Nicky!" Abby shrieked. Arista laughed at her daughters' reaction and after feeding her some canned alphagetti's she went to get dressed for her dinner.

NEXT. Sorry so short...gotta get into it a little..

Nicole couldn't believe it. Her twin boys were already 3 years old. Joshua and Kyle were getting so big. "God, why did you have to take Ryan away from me, any my boys?". Nicole missed her husband dearly. God had taken his life away from him shortly after Joshua and Kyle were born. It was the saddest day of all for her.

"Momma, what's heaven yike?" Kyle asked.

"Heaven is perfect. If you fall, you will not get hurt because you fall on clouds. Angels will be there to guide you in every way, and God will always love you." Nicole said.

"So you tellin' us that we will go dere some day, wight momma?" Joshua asked.

"Right kiddo." Nicole said.

"So are you tewwing us we will be safe if we beweive?" Kyle asked.

"Sure thing kiddo." Nicole said.

"Otay, thanks momma!" Both boys said in unison, as they ran off again. [i]"God, are they just like their father, curious about everything!"

Just then the phone rang. "Hello?" Nicole asked.

"Hi, is this Ms. Beckham?" The lady on the other end of the phone like asked.

"Sure is, how may I help you?" Nicole asked.

"This is Ms. Andersen calling on behalf of the teaching position at the elementary school. I am please to welcome you aboard to the Ronald Reagan Elementary school as a Kindergarten teacher." Ms. Andersen said.

"That's wonderful!! I've always wanted this to happen!" Nicole said.

"So I guess that you will be excepting this position?" Ms. Andersen asked.

"I surely will! I'm excited!" Nicole said.

"I'd love to meet you and your family." Ms. Andersen said.

"You can meet my sons and I. My husband died two years ago from a car accident." Nicole said.

"I'm so sorry to hear that. There is a teacher meeting tomorrow at 6:00 pm. Could you and your sons make it there?" Ms. Andersen said.

"We sure can! See you then!" Nicole said as they hung up. She was so excited! She had to call everyone, even her three best friends, C[arse]idy, Arista, and Megan. They were all going to meet up, no kids, and go out for some drinks tonight.
