This was in an article in my local paper under the entertainment section today and someone else heard it from a radio insider. Nick has supposively signed with Jive Records which would kinda make sense b/c his manager Larry Rudolph is also Britney Spears' manager and she is under Jive Records. Anyways this is what the quote in the paper was and what the radio insider said.
"Also, Nick recently signed a contract with Jive Records. He's gonna go with a more Adult Contemporary sound (think Clay Aiken) and go for the older audience."
Sounds interesting but I can't wait if it's true. Yay for Nick! Hopefully we'll hear more soon!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that this is true.That he signed with JIVE RECORDS. If he really did I am sure we will hear about it soon. I can't wait for another NICK LACHEY CD. Maybe now they will do NEWLYWEDS for one more season to help him promote the new label/cd

I hope its true that he signed with JIVE RECORDS. I went on their website and they have not listed him as an artist yet.
I pre-ordered the ALADDIN DVD that has NICK and JESSICA on it singing "BRAND NEW WORLD" plus its suspose to have their video they made with that song..
The duet NICK and JESSICA did on her XMAS CD is callled "BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE". I hope it sounds as good as "O HOLY NIGHT" did on the NEWLYWEDS show

Baby it's cold outside..... I like that song... I don't see the commercial they sing that song on anymore.

Has anyone heard if NICK really did sign with JIVE RECORDS?
If he did I wonder if he will talk about it Friday on REGIS AND KELLY OR TRL.

hey a couple days i was on here and confirmed it and yall busted on me sayin u want him to confirm it but i thought id let yall know he did in an interview say so yes it is true and official

Where is the interview?
Do you know where you read the interview that NICK did saying he did sign with JIVE RECORDS? They still dont have him listed as an artist on their website

There is an article in the news section that NICK did saying he has some deals on the table and hopes to begin recording a soul/rb record soon.
He did not say if he did SIGN with anybody or not.

well - some stations have video feeds on the 'net - or summaries of guest appearances - so what station/show was it on.

Hmmmmm interesting - Nick supposedly said in an interview that he had signed with Jive - yet that old money hungry @ss known as daddy simpson just stated he wants to sign Nick to HIS NEW record label - don't think it can work both ways - sorry sweets
But I'd much rather see him with Jive than with that JERK joe.

hmmm...jive would be cool but joe seems to have had a lot of success with ashlee and jessica...who knows...lol

That's not as a label though, Kara - that's as their manager - and it's already been proven that Newlyweds wasn't a vehicle that would work for moving NICK successfully on the music side - and the only reason Ashlee and Jess are where they are today is because of the reality shows.
oops...i thought joe wanted to sign nick to his JT record label...lol! yeah, jessica and ashlee's musical success has had everything to do with their reality shows. i wish newlyweds had done the same for nick. darn that uni!!!

joe does want to sign him to his record label silly. nick just needs a new and improved gimmick. i think maybe his problem according to my boyfriend is that on the show nick looks like a total [arse]. to some it's amusing but others it turns them away and for others it's just a neutral subject but i really don't think anyone looked at him musically too much because from what i've seen from the show so far jess has done all the singing on the show. nick has mostly just done the opening song, which of course really made me hate it even more.
ya'll are confusing me, lol! so joe wants to be his manager and sign him to his new record company?
