I know it is not even close to being christmas, but I still wrote the story anyway

summary:
Nick and Jessica have been separated for less
than a month and both are beyond miserable.
Now it's Christmas time and Jessica finally comes
to the realization that once again, she has made
the mistake of letting go of Nick. Will she be able
to win his heart and prove to him that she does
have faith in their relationship, in their marriage,
and in their love? Will one silent night together
renew the love and the passion they have felt for
each other all along? Or will everything spiral out
of control?

CHAPTER ONE

“It is killing me inside seeing him so upset,” Cate whispered to Lea. It was Christmas Eve and the entire Lachey and
Fompa families had gathered at Grandma Lachey’s home for a festive dinner. Everyone was in a jolly-Christmas
mood except for the broken hearted man lying on the sofa.
“I know. He didn’t want to come here in the first place. He wanted to stay at the house by himself,” Lea replied as she
finished frosting one of the pies that had finally cooled off.
Cate watched as her oldest son rolled onto his stomach and stuff his head under a pillow. To her, he looked like a
lost little boy and to an extent he was.
To date, it had been about a month since Nick and Jessica made the announcement that they were separating, news
that had sent shockwaves throughout the country. Since the announcement, Nick had continued living at the home he
once shared with Jessica while she moved back in with her parents. Although they were living in times of separation,
both of them felt like there was no hope for their marriage. How could they be together when they were never
together? How could they be together when they barely saw each other? How could they be together when the world
was against them? The pain was too much for either of them to bear. They thought they were going to make it. They
thought they were going to win the endless fight against the tabloids. But in the end, love wasn’t enough. The love
was there. The trust was there. The respect was there. But everything had fallen short. Somehow they had lost
everything they had treasured. They had lost each other.
Cate continued to watch her son as he lay motionless on the sofa. Her heart broke. She herself had been through
two separations, both of which had ended in divorce, so she knew what her son was going through and she hated the
very thought. A part of her blamed herself for all that had transpired. She and Nick’s father divorced when he was
only thirteen and the fact that her second marriage failed gave her the impression that she wasn’t a good example of
the love, trust, and sacredness that surrounds marriage. She knew how much Nick wanted his marriage to work. She
knew how much he loved Jessica. But at the moment, she didn’t know what to do. She didn’t know how to reassure
her son that everything was going to be okay. She felt helpless, and as a mother, that was a horrible feeling. She
then turned to Lea, who was pregnant with her youngest son’s baby. She was glowing and full of life. She watched as
Drew came into the kitchen and wrap his arms around his wife’s belly and softly kiss her neck. They were so in love
and excited about the life they were going to welcome into the world. But then Cate turned back to her other son. His
head was still under the pillow and he hadn’t moved a muscle. Sadness consumed her. How could one of her sons be
happy and the other miserable? She hated it. Her thoughts, however, were interrupted when the phone rang. She
immediately picked it up and was surprised to hear who was on the other line.
“Hello? It’s Jessica…………..”

Chapter two

Cate was so chocked and so happy to hear her daughter in law in the phone.
"Cate, are you there"jess asked through the tears
"Yes, honey I am here. How are you sweetheart"cate asked her
"Im terrible and so miserable. Cate can I meet you, drew and lea for awhile. I just need someone to talk to"jess cried in the phone
"Of course. Come over to my house. I can pick you up"cate told her
"No, I rent a car and get there by myself. I just need the dirrections"jess told her as more tears started to fall
Jess thought to herself, she had not jsut lost her husband but her partents and her sister too
Then they both hung up saying goodbye and was waiting to see each other.
Cate walked back into the house and felt so sad to see her oldest son so miserable and so sad, but deep inside she felt so happy, because jess was coming over, to celebrate christmas with them
Then suddenly cate heard a knock on the door and her son nick was on way to open the door, but his mom stopped and cate walked to the door and opned it herself.
Cate was so happy to see jess again as she pulled her into her arms and gave her a hug, then let her in.
"I`ve missed you jess"cate cried in tears
"I missed you too cate"jess said as tears started to fall
"Is he in there"jess said pulling away
Cate nodded and took her hand and walked into the living room
"Everybody, guess who is here"cate said as everyone exept nick turned around
"Hey evertbody"jess said as more tears started to fall
Lea walked over to jess and gave her a hug, and then drew and Isaac too.
Then nick looked up, and he was so surprised to see his wife there, that he got eaven more sad, wondring what she was doing there. Was she there to say that she wanted to get back together or was she there to say she wanted a divorce.
Nick hated to think about the last question, so he stand up walking closer to her, and then turned aroundd to his mom.
"Im going to the church, be right back"he said and started to walk away
"Nick, wait. Can I go with you"jess suddenly asked him
"No, I want to be alone"he said and walked away
Jess got even more tears in her eyes, as she started to get dressed and grab her stuff to leave
"I guess, he don`t want me here. And Im nnot blaming him. I woulden`t want me here either"jess said as tears was falling down her cheek
then jess said goodbyre to everybody and rented a car, and left the house to go to the chourch.
Nick was sitting in the church crying and thinking.
"Dear god. Please let me and jess get back together, please let her realize that we belong together. Please. All I want for christmas is my wife. Please give her back to me"nick said with tears in his eyes
Jess walked into the church , and saw nick sitting on his knees crying, she walked closer and went on her knees next to him.
"Dear god
Why did you let mom, dad and my sister die in the fire, why didn`t you save them, why??
And please let me get my good and happy life back, please.
Let me and my true love get back together.
Can you say, to my parents and my sister, that I will always love them and always think about them and always miss them."jess said paraying as she started to cry even harder
Then jess got up and started to leave
"Jess, wait"nick called after her
Jess turned around to see nick walking closer to her
"What?? Im leaving, I don`t deserve you and you made it clear to me"jess said in tears
"No, you don`t deserve me. But I want to be with you, you are my wife and I love you so much"nick said as he pulled her into his arms and kissed her
"I love you too nick"jess said and pulled away from him
"So, will you still spend christmas with me and our family"nick asked her
"Only, if you want me there"jess sais back
"I want you there"nick said back to her
Then they walked outside hand in hand, then jess stopped
"I need to do something over there"she said and pulled nick with her, and walked over to the grave her mom, dad and sister was. And then put flowers and a picture of teh whole family on the grave.
Then they walked away to nicks car and drived back with her luggage to nicks moms house, to celebrate christmas together.

chapter three

Jess and nick sat in the car very silent, then nick stopped the silent.
"What happend with your aprents and your sister"nick suddenly asked her
"I don`t wanna talk about it right now and I want to tell you, your mom, drew, lea and Isaac together today"jess said
Nick then took his hand on her leg as jess moved her hand over his, holding onto his hand.
"Nick, I missed you so much. Im sorry for everything"jess said as tears started to fall
"Well, I was very hurt jess, but Im glad we are back together, and that is all that matters."nick said pulling her hand up and kissed it
Then they suddenly were outside cates house, as nick walked out the car and walked over to the passenger seat door and offered his hand to her as she took it, and walked to the house with the luggage.
"Look, who is here"nick said smiling as he pulled jess into the livingroom with him
"You`re back jess"everyone said smiling
"Yes I am"jess said smiling back
"Where did you go jess"cate suddenly asked her
"I was at the church"she told cate back
"What were you ding there"lea asked her
"I was, I..I.. I was praying"she said lying to them
Then suddenly she pulled away from nick walking outside and started to cry.
Then she walked back inside
"nick, lea, drew, cate and Isaac. I need to tell you guys something"jess said as more tears started to fall
"okey"everone said back to her
"The reason, I came here is because I missed nick and also because my parents and my sister is died"she said as everyone hang their mouth open
"Oh, my god. Why didn`t you tell us"cate askes as she stood up and walked over to her daugther in law and gave her a hug.
Then jess walked over to the couch were nick was sitting and started to sat next to him, but instead she was pulled into nick`s lap
"What happend baby"nick suddenly asked her
"After, I told you, I wanted a seperation, my parents got very sick and then three months later they were in a fire and they all died. I remeber, that I walked into teh house were the fire was, to look after them, I heard ashlee screaming and I walked faster and faster, but when I finally got there, they were totally burned and dead. I didn`t know what to do, so I started to run out of there. And then one week later, someone had find the bodys and took them to the hospital and then they grave them down in the sand, in the church were me and nick was, right now."jess said as more tears started to fall
Jess had finally got her husband back and was so happy
Will they survive through the christmas and will they be together forever??

Chapter four

"Im sorry that I did interrupt, but I didn`t have no place to go, and I missed your son very much cate"jess said with more tears falling
"I just wished, I could spend one more last christmas with them, I miss them so much. I have thought a lot, and I gonna quit as a singer"jess suddenly said
"You what baby??"nick asked her
"Im quitting, its no point doing it anymore, I have no assistent, no manager or anything"jess said
"Did your parents, tell you that they wanted you to quit as a singer baby"nick asked pullimg her closer to him on his lap
"No. my dad, told me that I had to promise him, that I will continue making albums and writing songs and continue performing them"jess said back to nick
"Then don`t stop, babe. I don`t let you give up your dream, because I love you so much and I love your voice so much"nick said
"Well,I guess, i still can continue, but I need to find a new manager, and I know who I gonna ask"jess said as she turned around to face her friend lea
"Lea, will you make me the happyest friend in the world and be my manager"jess asked her best friend
"I will love to be your manager jess"lea said back to her and walked up and gave her a hug
"And cate, will you be my assistant"jess asked her mother in law
"Of course"cate told back to her
"And, Nick will you be my love intrest and my husband"jess asked smiling at nick
"I am your husband, and I will never let go of you again and yes I will be your love intrest"nick said sweetly and leaned down and kissed her
"its getting late. Tomorrow it is christmas. Jess, you have to sleep in nicks room and share a bed with him. is that okey??"cate asked both nick and jess
"hmmm. I have to think about that a while"jess said joking as she started to get up from nicks lap, but nick pulled her back down
"Very funny baby. You know you want to, as much as I want to"nick said smiling
"Of course, it is okey, that I share a bed with my own husband. I love that as much I love my husband"jess said and leaned up and kissed nick
Then everyone got to bed exept nick and jess
They were still awake, talking and doing some more
"Im so glad I have you back jess"nick said and leaned down and trow jess over his shoulder and walked into the bedroom and closed the door behind them, as nick layed jess on the bed, with him on top of her
"Nick, baby. Make love to me"jess said smiling as she undressed nick completely and pulled him down as he was udressing her, then they kissed passionatly and moved deep inside each other
Then they felt asleep in each others arms, thinking whow lucky they are to have their true love and their soulmate back into their lives.

Chapter Five

It was christmas eve, and jess and nick had finally got back together, but it was still a part of jess that felt not so happy about her marriage, she flet like something was missing and she is so afraid, of that, whatever is missing will make her leave him again.
Instead, jess got up from the bed and got dressed and waled downstairs to find, nick and drew watching sports as usual.
Jess, knew that she needed to confront nick and talk to him alone, and she knew that now was the time.
"Nick, can I talk to you outside a minute"jess asked nick as she walked over and sat on his lap
"Of course, babe"nick told back to her and pulled her off his lap and took her hand and walked outside and sat on porch.
"What, baby"nick asked her
"Im not happy, as the way I used to be with you"jess suddenly said as she felt tears in her eyes
"okey. tell, me, why you are not happy"nick said and pulled away from her
"I feel, that we are missing some sparks and that we need to communicate and listen to each other more then we do. So, nick will you go on counsling with me"jess suddenly asked him
"Are you sure?? You said to me before, that you didn`t want to go on counsling with me"nick said back to her very confuced
"I know I said that. but, we still have problems in our marriage and I will do anything to save our marriage, and if counsling is the selution, to save our marrige, then I will deffenly go for it, if you come with me"jess said and snuggled closer to nick
"Yes, I will go with you on counsling. Im so glad that you came to me and told me that you are not so happy, and told me that you want to save our marriage, i want that too. So, yes let us start on counsling"nick said and put his arms around her shoulder an pulled her closer to him. still swunging on the porch....
Jess knew that she will never let go of this man again, she will do anything to save her marriage, she knew that this time, she will never doubt nicks feelings for her, but she is still afraid of the thought of maybe that nick actually have cheated on her. She knew that on counsling, she can speak right from hear heart without being scared of the media and their fans to know about their problems in their marriage.
Later that day, nick and jess got ready to celebrate christmas and open gifts.
But the question is will counsling save their marriaege or will it just make it harder for them to keep going in the marriage??

chapter six

Jess and nick was sitting in the living room cuddling on the couch and watching sports.
"Nick, do you ever regret marrying me"jess suddenly asked him
"Babe, whow can you even think that. Marrying you is the best thing I have done in my my whole life. I love you so much baby"nick said and pulled her closer to him
"I love you too, nick"jess said and snuggled so close to nick she can
"So, do you want your gift"jess asked smiling up at him
"Yes, I want my gift."nick said as jess got off of him and grab his hand and walked to their bedroom and closed the door behind them.
"Why, are we in the bedroom"nick asked confuced as he grab her hand and walked over to the bed and layed her down onto the bed with him on top of her.
"We, are in the bedroom, becuase I want to be alone with you while im giving you your gifts. The first gift is a sex contract"jess said smiling as she started to undress nick and he started to undress her and the second gift is , that you gonna be a dad"jess said and took nicks arm and put it on her stomach.
"Are we gonna be parents"nick asked smiling as he started to kiss her neck
"thats right babe. we gonna be parents"she told back to him and pulled her down to him and turned his face close to hers and pulled him down to her and kissed him very tenderly and passionate on his lips.
Was the baby the reason to save thier marriage or is it just a another problem??

chapter seven

One week later after christmas
Jess and her sister was out shopping while nick was home all byhimself.
Nick was home watching sports, when he heard a knock on the door, so he got up from the couch and opened the door, and as he did that, he got the chock of his life.
"Vanessa. why are you here??"nick asked her very confuced
"Nick, I still love you very much and I wish you and jess, never got back together"she said back to him screaming
"Vanessa. I don`t love you, I actually never did, not as much I love my wife. and jess is the one i want to be with"nick said and started to walk back inside
Vanessa turned nick around and suddenlu she kissed him, nick didn`t respond to the kiss, instead he pulled her off of him.
"vanessa, move on. You will never get me back in your life"nick screamed back to her
"maybe not now, but one day, I will. and I will do anything to try and split you and jess up. you hear me, im not giving up"she said back to him and walked away with a big smile on her face.
Nick then suddenly, started to pack all his stuff and jess stuff and drived to her parents house, where she was going after the shopping.
When nick got to his mom and dad in law, he noticed vanessa watching him and following him, so nick got fast out of the car and walked inside to the house and find jess watching television with her sister, he grab her hand and walked back outside, to see that vanessa was still watching them.
Nick then took his wife into his arms, as he started to slowly undress her and kissing her so passionate, then jess pulled away from the kiss.
"Jess, we need to talk"nick suddenly told her
Nick told verythin vanessa had said to him and he also told her that vanessa suddenly kissed him and that he pulled right, off of him.
"She told you that too"jess asked him
"Vanessa, told me too. I got so mad at her, i didn`t know what to do"jess said in tears
"What if her paln suddenly make us split up"jess said in tears
"Nothing, will ever split us again, you hear me. thats why.
"Nick leaned closer to her and whispered in her ear. "thats why, you and me, your parents, my parents and your sister and my brother, have to move far away from her"nick whispered into her ear
"okey. I do anything to not let her split us up , and if moving is the thing, then we have to do it"jess said and kissed her lovely husband
Then they got into the house to tell their parents, the whole thing.
Will moving help to get away from vanessa, and will it help to not let vanessa split them up??
