Nanners - I never started school in September (although WI law now mandates schools not start prior to 9/1 unless they receive an exemption) but it was always the week before Sept - never the middle of the month.

They had changed it though. When I was in H.S we would start on September 3rd.

Hello Everyone!!!

We start the 3rd Wednesday in August, every year...we always have...but the way I see it, the sooner they start, they sooner they get out for Summer...lol

Also for the first time in a LONG time...none of the christmas break days will be used at make up days...and they will get a full 2 weeks, and they even get out at 12:30 on the 17th...and dont' go back till Jan 3rd...

I really hope it is just a server down and they haven't let the site go...that would be sad...and if they did let it go, I would think that they would have given us some notice...but who knows...

I doubt they would let the site go. That's where all of the "fans" are...well mostly. So yeah I doubt it's that. Hopefully it just has something to do with the server or something.

Most of the schools around me start either September 1st or 2nd now. :) If you want to start at an earlier date, like a high school in Milwaukee does, you need special permission from the state for that. It sucks because we don't get out till the middle of June now. :(:(:( Lol
