I'm more likely to believe it was Vanessa herself who needs the press since she isn't much in the news these days. Besides,...since you want to tie in less then perfect parents,...maybe we should start discussing Vanessa's hap hazard childhood where both parents passed her and the other sibblings back and forth through the years, finally with her mother literally dropping them off at the fathers never to see them again! Makes you wonder why a mother would do that, doesn't it!? Was maybe V too hard to handle? Such a stable background herself. :weird:

Vanessa sure did well for herself after such an unstable childhood. I thought her mother dropped her off when she was only 10 years old or so. Even after her childhood she managed to win miss teen usa, and get a scholarship to Geogia Tech for engineering. Looks like she took her sad childhood and turned it into something positive.

I think this is a despicable post and a horrible thing to say about any child. It is really offensive and I hope the mods remove it.

I think to constantly refer to Jessica's father a "pimp" is equally uncalled for yet no one seems to have a problem with that and it occurs on this board over and over again day after day week after week.

^ The term "Pimpson" was not coined by NF. It is a term used on a lot of sites. Just Like Blahnick and all the others. Our (Mods) point was that you can speak your opinions all you want but accusations are not allowed. Insinuating that Vanessa as a child was to blame for any problems in her family was offensive to some members. Likewise, I am offended everyday when the term "Fugs ans Jugs" is allowed to be used to describe Jess and John and the term "pimp" is used to decribe Jess's father! Yet those decriptions and words are allowed on the board as if it was second nature. Crude accusations and casual jokes are even made by certain Nick fans about Jess's father "abusing" his daughters! HELLO!!!! How is that acceptable???? Where is the proof? No proof, just an "unfounded accusation" followed by smiley faces because I guess they think it is funny!? How is incest ever funny?
As far as V,...it has been widely reported how she was shifted back and forth between her parents and how her mom basically dumped her off at the fathers never to see her again. Not sure how anyone can call that good parenting. To assume it was done for good intentions is just that,... an assumption. My point was that to constantly bash Jess judging her parents was wrong and maybe we should delve into V's background which wasn't so picture perfect either. And I didn't "accuse" V of being the reason,..it was posted in the form of a question, just like numerous similar worded "questions" are posted about Jess everday on here! If mine is a problem, then all the others, (hundreds) should be pointed out as well, and an appology made for the crude comments made about Joe Simpson insinuating that he abused Jess and her sister. Or that John is into certain "sexual practices." Which again are posted with lil smiles afterwords. Is that considered accusations as well?

It's true that Vanessa had a difficult childhood but to say that she was the reason for it is found to be very offensive; in addition there hasn't been an reason to believe that she was the reason for it, therefore it is an unfounded accusation. If you find what other's say offensive, then please respond in a respectful manner. But don't make it your perogative to indirectly offend them by making disparaging remarks about Vanessa. It causes arguments and isn't necessary.
When it comes to the matter of what people say and why they say it, one must consider the intent. As a mod we have to use our judgement to decide if there is a reason to respond to a post. Most comments made on this board are out of jest and are not malicious. Should we decide that something was said maliciously or out of context we'll respond to it. A mod isn't here to police the boards, we're here to help things run more smoothly. And just like we can't police the board, we can't police the internet. Therefore, we cannot deny people the right of using terms such as fugs and jugs, etc. that were coined on other sites and over time.

I am equally offended by your posts day in and day out. I say on average little or nothing about your comments and it matters not how offensive or mean spiritied or nasty I feel that they are. However, they are your opinons. Your comments are left here on the board as are everyone elses.
