Thanks for posting. I just got back from the grocery store and I did my usual Nick check of all the tabs while in line, I gotta say, Vanessa was in all of them and not just with Nick but alone and some of them, they referenced her style of dress, etc.
She is really coming into her own, good or bad?!

It doesn't bother me, as long as she doesn't use their relationship to hype her projects. So far, she's not doing that. If she keeps her career seperate from their relationship, it'll be better off.

^^^Yeah, I agree with you. They are really trying not to overshadow one another at their respective career events, IMO..
Man, one things for sure, dating Nick makes women famous and household names!

Most people don't enter another person's "personal space" unless they have been friends for ages or they are sexual with them.

I know lots of women/girls that are friendly like Vanessa and to my knowledge none of them are in a sexual relationship.(LOL)

So it's basically offensive that the woman posed with another celeb and they were hugging each other? If you don't want someone in your "personal space" there are ways to let that person know that. I'd rather see two women, supporting each other, than being catty. This is so tame, compared to the stuff that's floating around the web.

No one labeled it "offensive." It was an observation about common established boundaries people have with other people in public situations. Unless you know the person very well, you don't usually press your chest against the other person or have various body parts connecting just to snap a picture with another celeb for the press.

LOL!! And I would LOVE it!

It's not that I'm a "don't touch me" person. I just typically am not the one to initiate a hug (except w/certain people). I LOVE hugs though. And I LOVE really warm loving people. I definitely won't turn a hug down!

Well, for me personally, that's a little "to close". No one is allowed in my "space" like that except my husband. My girlfriends(that I've known for over 12 years or so) and I don't even hug like that.

I've noticed that about celebrity females a llllooooonnnnggggg time ago.....it's a little strange if you're not used to it, but to each it's own.

I guess some people are just comfortable in their skin while others are not. Some people are also friendly and others are not.

Not at all! Nick is "friendly and comfortable in his skin" (as are most people) yet you won't see him hugging every other new guy he meets so close their personal parts touch. There is a difference with a casual hug and one where your major parts touch.

Guys are different than women. Just because a woman does that it doesnt mean that she is sexual with her.

^^ I agree. Most women are not afraid of touch. Actually, it's a sign of being a very nurturing. loving person. You're open with your emotions and not closed. If the person you are hugging or touching doesn't mind...what's the problem? That's what I say!

Adding: Anyway, this is off topic so let's try to keep to the topicof the thread. :)

That's our new mission as mods, as we were direceted to do by Les the other day...we're all going to have to try to keep to a topic or just start another one in the General section. ;) But you are right, a lot of the threads do go off topic.
