Ladies, I voted up a storm for Nick. So, I would have been disappointed if he didn't win anything. Now, do they actually get a trophy for each award, or what will he get. "Album of the Year" Universal should [bad word] their pants!

Now hopefully, industry hunchos will take a second look at his talents. Besides, he hasn't signed that record deal yet, so this should go well for him. Woho, way to go Nicholas. Yaybaby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is working on the new record deal. He did record a demo (at the beginning of Jessica's tour) and has narrowed down his choices to two labels. He told one of the ladies at one of Jessica's concert not so long ago.

So sooner or later, he should sign a deal and there should be a press release. I am hoping his new album gets off to a good start like Ashlee Simpson did. If not like Ashlee, then at least close enough!! That is my fervent prayer.

i love nick to death and love his cd (im listenin to it now) but he really didnt deserve album of the year it only sold 30,000 copies jessica sold WAY more than that like over 450, 000 and i think hilary duff's cd (EWWW) did better im glad he won but they obviously didnt calculate it rite cause he really didnt deserve those awards :( id rather him win than someone else they chose him cause hes a hottie with a voice lol

He won because that's who the voters of StarShine Mag voted for - it's not an "official" award from anyone - it's sort of like the People's Choice - only it is targeted to their readers (mailing list) and they use people they have profiled in the past year as their nominees.

not to be mean but really the hottest man alive? i think there are some people who would disagree. and don't forget people only 1200 people voted and more than likely quite a few were the same people so who knows how many people really voted. i think some people took more interest in it than others too so who knows. but that's just my two cents on a subject posted eons ago :P.
