NASCAR Fines/Suspensions for 4 teams

Soooo what do you think of the fines/suspensions/penalties handed down yesterday to the 17 (Kennseth), 9(Kahne), 19(E. Sadler), 10 (Riggs) teams?

For those who haven't heard:
17 & 9 - 50K fine to the crew chief, 4 race suspension for the c.c., and -50 pts from both the Owner & Driver point totals
10 & 19 - 25K fine & 2 race suspension for the crew/car chief - and -25 pts for owner/driver point totals.

all I know is - those 4 drivers have one MIGHTY BIG hole to crawl outta starting out that far behind (since they are at -50/-25 pts respectively and everyone else is at 0)

yeah - I'm with ya on that one - since they did say yesterday that it was NOT Oil that was in the crankcase (even though that was what MW claimed).

On the MW Racing front - OUCH! 100 points taken from the driver & owner points standings - 100K fine - and INDEFINITE Suspensions for TWO key members of the team!:amazed: :amazed: :amazed: Time from qualifying disallowed - he's gonna be struggling all season again just to get into the Top 35 so he can get a guaranteed spot in the starting fields.

Ouch is right. I hope NASCAR stays consist with their penalities..I think they(sometimes) change the penalities depending on who the driver/team is

totally agree with you on them (NASCAR) needing to stay consistent with penalties this season - but at least this far - they appear to be - although, I don't know that Ray Evernham would agree since all 3 of his teams were hit with penalties already.
