There was an article in last weeks US Weekly about J&J. Here is the scan of where they compared Nick & John. IMO- there is no comparison to Nick. LOL!:toung:

Why does there have to be a comparison at all? They are two different people. What's to say either one is better? That's like saying you can't like another pop star because you can only like Nick. Doesn't work that way.

I'm surprised it took this long for the comparison to come out. I dont think its saying that you can only like one or either of them are better than the other. Its just showing Nicks info & Johns info basically.
They do it all the time will all celebs.

Most people won't see it that way, they'll take a look at Mayer's accomplishments, and think he in fact is the better man just based on that. That's wrong.

I haven't looked at the comparison, however, once again they just do that to sell papers. I worked for a legitimate national paper so I know how the business works with the rags!
As I mentioned, t's like saying to all the Jeff fans on here (including Les!) that they are silly for liking Jeff more then Nick.
The two are singers yet each brings something unique to the table. I enjoy a lot of singers,..it's not to say any one is better, just different.
Mayer is a multiplatinum singer who writes his own music and lyrics and also plays an instrument to boot. He's up for 5 Grammy awards this year including album of the year! IMO he must be doing something right because he sure has the admiration of people in the business as well as his fans.

^^ True! A lot of people in the industry are always talking about how down to earth Nick is. People that have interviewed Nick have said how surprised they are he is so down to erth considering what he does for a living. I don't know much about John Mayer. I guess he seems somewhat down to earth. He's managed to keep his personal life separate from his career (Until now).

If you we're asking me, I'd have to say that what Nick brings to the table goes far beyond the talents of his art. Charm, Charisma, Style, sensitivity, humbleness, and an openess that he exudes which seems to clue everyone around him that he is both a sharer and a carer...:idea:
I don't know much about John...but from what I do know,he likes to be a low key, bordering on recluse kinda guy... One that dates pretty hollywood types (Like J Love Hewitt) and kisses and tells later on through his so called music. He's got much acclaim, but that's kinda like all those movies that win the Oscars that no one ever goes to see!:laugh:

I enjoy a lot of Nick's songs. Some of my favorites are This I Swear and The Hardest Thing.
Here are a few videos that show what I am talking about as far as Nick & other artists's being different yet unique in their own way when discussing the same things as opposed to other song. John is a very talented musician, you can't take that away from him. Imo, Nick has a better personality (john seems like an arrogant jerk at time to me) and he's cuter..LOL!!!!
