Super Bowl ad: Inside Chad Johnson's party
(Jan. 29, 2007) -- With the Super Bowl in the state known for "Hanging Chads," NFL Network puts a unique spin on its Super Bowl message this year.
The theme is a Super Bowl party hosted by flamboyant Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235222) for his friends -- and it's quite a cast of characters who show up to hang with Chad on Super Bowl Sunday.
"Hanging with Chad" is NFL Network's 30-second television message airing during CBS's Super Bowl XLI broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 4.
For the fourth consecutive Super Bowl, the 39-month-old cable and satellite channel dedicated to the National Football League and the sport of football will have a message in the big game. This time it focuses on one of the games' most colorful personalities and the eclectic group of people who attend his Super Bowl party and represent the diversity of the NFL's enormous audience.
The spot features the following people:

DAVID BECKHAM (England's star footballer)
JANET RENO (Former U.S. Attorney General)
MARTHA STEWART (Domestic Diva)
JIMMY FALLON (Comedian and actor)
LL COOL J (Actor and musician)

NFL Network's ad agency -- Triple Double -- brings together the same team responsible for the previous three Super Bowl commercials, including the critically acclaimed "Tomorrow" spot in Super Bowl XXXVIII and "NFL Nation" in Super Bowl XL. Judy Fearing, NFL Network's senior vice president of consumer marketing, oversees the channel's marketing programs.
NFL Network airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the first television network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football. This past year, NFL Network aired more than 200 games including NFL regular season, NFL preseason, NFL Europa, the Texas Bowl, Insight Bowl, Senior Bowl and for the first-time in NFL history, regular season game replays and entire broadcast versions of previous Super Bowls.
