My first stop is Village at the Lift, the hub for all Sundance festivities. As I wait to score my all-access pass, a hobo-looking guy with a full-on Paul Bunyan beard cuts the line. Before I say anything, I notice his crystal baby blues and realize why Cher fell in love with her step-brother in Clueless. Even with too much facial hair, Paul Rudd can still melt hearts.
It looks like bushy beards are hot for the cold weather, because Danny Masterson is also sporting one. Guess that’s one way of keeping warm. Another is traveling deep in the middle of an entourage, like Matt Leinart. The quarterback is getting big bucks by Polaroid to be here, but like most stars, he’s not bypassing the swag. I don't blame him, either—Hollywood Party Girl wants to hit the freebie suites, too.
