I've noticed that a few people are posting articles in the Multimedia section. Here's a little guideline to help you tell the difference between the two:
Topics that go in the 'News Articles' section:
If a site has written a news article (a full paragraph or longer about Nick) then it goes in this section.
If it has an image, but it is followed by a news article (more than one paragraph of text - it still goes in this section. (a blog site that's giving their opinion is not considered a news article)Topics that go in the 'Multimedia section':
Magazine scans, pictures, & videos. (DO NOT hotlink the image from the site. Just post the link to the site where the image can be viewed)
If a site has a picture with a caption then it goes in this section.
If it's a Blog site that is explaining the evening yet it has 1 or more images - it goes in this section. (It's not considered a news article)If something doesn't fit in these two sections than it goes in the 'Nick Lachey' thread.
More on HotLinking:
Please do not 'hotlink' to any photos unless YOU OWN THE SITE they are located on - or it's a general photo hosting website (i.e. photobucket). Posting URLs to the photos is fine - but don't put the code in to show the picture (that's hotlinking) unless it's your site or a photo host designed for that purpose. (Thanks Rae)
