I have never seen DB play his sport. Is he really that great at it? I know they think very highly of him back in his home country. But I have always wanted to ask someone that was a fan of DB. Again, is he really that great? If so I'd love to see him play.

I think he's a great player ... but I wouldn't say he's the greatest player in the league. There are a lot of other great players out there too - for some reason they don't have the appeal that DB has though! :confused:

He is an awesome player and no offence to the american soccer league, but for Beckham its really like playing for a pub team in comparison to playing for Manchester United or Real Madrid. He was known as being the best player to take a free kick but then as he has got older he seemed to slow down a bit and did lose the captains arm band for England. He is still really really good tho!!
