My dad had a heartattack while he was on dialysis today - so please pray that he makes it.
I won't be around for a while cuz I'll be outta town at the hospital in Minnesota where they transfered him.

Thanks everyone :)
In case you were curious, wanted to know - here's the story of what happened.
My dad has dialysis 3 days a week (M-W-F) 6:30 AM He went like usual - and about an hour in (approx) the monitors on his dialysis machine went off - so the nurse went to check on him and found him in cardiac arrest (no heart beat) - she called the Code Blue and started CPR - as they took my dad down to the ER to continue the resusitation efforts, one of the other nurses called my mom at work (just before 8 am) telling her that they are taking my dad down to ER because he was un-responsive. My mom gets there to find out he had coded - and they are prepping him for transfer to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN (part of the MAYO organization) so she calls me and tells me to get someone from work to drive me over (since I had walked to work in the morning) - after they loaded him in the ambulance to take him to the helicopter pad, my mom and I ran home to get some stuff together before driving up there (copter flight - 25 min; drive - 60 min) when we got there they had my dad in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Come to find out that my dad had a SECOND attack while he was in the cath lab (so he actually had TWO heart attacks). Thankfully he seems to be doing better - he had been on a vent Friday to help with his breathing and they were able to take him off Saturday (and quite often it takes longer to get someone off a vent).
If I get anymore info I'll update you again - but thanks for the prayers over the weekend - and please continue them...because he's still got a long road to travel with this.
Luvs ya all,
Rae :)
Ohhhhhh and thankfully he was at the hospital, because otherwise - he wouldn't be here - because he would have been home alone - so he wouldn't have gotten the CPR/shocks from the defibbrilator immediately which he needed. (and if he had gone - I would have probably been the one to find him since I get home from work before my mom (unless she had come home for lunch).
