Jessica Cancels Providence Show!

Jessica was sent to the hospital earlier today and as a result was forced to cancel her show in Providence tonight. Here is the article.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Pop singer Jessica Simpson canceled her Tuesday show at the Dunkin' Donuts Center because of an illness, a concert promoter said.

Simpson, 23, was being treated at a local hospital. Details about her illness were not being released.

Fans were advised to keep their tickets, as organizers hope to reschedule the performance as soon as possible, said Heidi Kutsch, a spokeswoman for Clear Channel Communications, which is promoting the concert.

Simpson, star of MTV's reality show "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica," was scheduled to go on stage before a nearly sold-out audience at 7:30 p.m.

The appearance was part of Simpson's summer tour promoting her latest album, "In This Skin."

Poor Jess! Ive heard a few different reasons of why she was hospitalized.

jess will be here in kansas city july 8 for a concert but so far I've not seeing anything different for her not too be here. but we will say a prayer for her an nick at this time of need and hopefully she'll feel better :P

FYI: Jessica is feeling better and did her concert in Detroit last night. Several people from the JSMB reported going to the show and having a good time.

She is already in Columbus, OH and will do a concert tonight too. From everything I have read she has resumed her normal schedule. As for the two shows that were cancelled a couple of days ago, they will no doubt be rescheduled.
