WOW! I just got back from the Red Bank, NJ concert. These past two days have been crappy for the site... since it went down and got hacked. This is my way of making it up to everyone. :)
First off, thanks to Stevie and Frankie for the opportunity of going to the concert with them last night. Here is my review, pictures & videos:
The opening act was Phil Bensen (http://www.myspace.com/philbensen). He sang 5-6 songs. I couldn't really hear him over the music. He was good from what I could make out. I like his song 'Paper Airplanes'. After he got off the stage, the stage crew came and cleared everything out than dropped a white sheet that covered the stage. Around 9:30pm they dimmed the lights and the whole theatre went wild. All you saw was Nick's shadow before they raised the sheet. Nick sang Outside Looking In, Everywhere But Here, I Do It For You, Crave, Beautiful, I Can't Hate You Anymore, Shades of Blue, Slave, The Hardest Thing, I Do, Fall in Love, You're Not Alone, a Led Zeppelin song, Resolution, & What's Left of Me. Right before he sang WLOM the security let a whole bunch of girls go in front of the first row. He asked the crowd if they have ever gone on Nickfanatic.com and the people I was with pointed at me. LOL! I really don't remember what he said after that because everyone that was standing in front of the stage turned around and looked at me. LOL! The concert was awesome. The crowd was VERY energetic. Before Nick sang Resolution they all left the stage and tons of girls chanted "We want Nick!". :) It was great to hear how much Nick is loved. :) After the concert, we went to where the tour bus was parked. There was a line of people already waiting for Nick to come out. We bumped into Josh and Frankie (Thank you for doing this!!) told him that I was Les from NF. :) Josh gave me a little tour backstage and I got to meet Nick. :) Everyone in Nick's crew are VERY cool people!
I have tons of video. I'll post them as they are uploaded, which won't be until tomorrow morning. It's about to be 2am and my head is killing me.
