Ashlee Simpson, Jessica's darling little dark-haired 19-year-old sis, apparently took full advantage of the open bar at Entertainment Weekly's "Must List" party Thursday night at Crobar.
At first, Ashlee was pretty shy about admitting what she was swizzling. "Its a pineapple and cranberry," she told us.
But her mom and manager, Tina Simpson, jumped in with: "And vodka, too. don't forget the vodka."
Meanwhile, Nick Lachey quickly ended a conversation with a striking blond - who was not his Jessica - after a few dirty looks from his mommy-in-law.
Nick, the quicker half of America's favorite newlyweds, then volunteered that he's in talks with a few labels about a new album. When we asked what it would sound like, he told us, "I don't want it to be pop-rock, I know that much." So there!
