Found a couple of nice blog posts about Vanessa - looks like Nick picked a good 'un.
WHOA. Nick Lachey's Aunt came into the store. It was cool, I chekced her ID when she bought something, and I was like HEY NICK LACHEY HAS THE SAME LAST NAME! And she was like, he's my nephew. Did you know Jessica broke up with Nick? We talked about it for like 10 minutes. He brought Vanessa Minnillo home to meet the family, and apparently she's gorgeous, and wears like sweats and isn't stupid and boring like Jessica. It was cool the stories they were telling. His cousin and him look alot alike. It was interesting. I suppose that's the highlight of my day.

Today I had my first celebrity client. Now, I've posted a few times about celebrities I have SEEN at work, but had never actually assisted them in purchasing something. Tonight, Vanessa Minnillo came into Gucci and I got to help her. She was gorgeous in person and very down to earth. The kind of girl that you want to be friends with. I helped her pick out a "good black bag" and then helped her pick out a big weekender bag for her to use when she goes to LA to see her "boyfriend"... (aka Nick Lachey). She was so nice and chatty and not at all what I guess I expected. I got all her info and get to write and send her a thank you note tomorrow. She has my card...so hopefully I'll see her again soon. Pretty cool stuff.
I still won't be watching any more TRL though...
