Honestly, Derek Jeter is a bigger name than Nick Lachey. The only reason V is getting more attention with Nick is because Nick was married to Jess, and people thought that they were going to last. And even though Derek dated Mariah Carey, V never really got any attention because they were private and weren't in people's homes every week. The media is now noticing V because Nick's career is more fitting with hers than Derek's baseball career. And also, Nick isn't a man*****. LOL

I never heard of the guy until recently so I didn't know he was a bigger name. I agree that the only reason they are getting attention is because of his divorce with Jess. But these days, the kind of attnetion they are getting is what makes people successful and provide more opportunities.
