I started to write a review and then lost the whole thing so I guess I will start again.
I actually don't remember the order of any songs. Have no idea why, guess I was so excited that my mind decided to have memory loss. I will do my best though.
Dirtie Blonde was first out. Her voice is so GREAT! It has such a weird sound to it but still she is just awesome. I think she did 5 songs. Her bassplayer just happened to be from OHIO, he got us started on the whole OH IO thing ( sorry if you don't know what that is, its a buckeye thing ). Didn't go out and meet them though I wanted to stay and see Joanna.
Kinda have to say that I was disappointed with Joanna. I think shes much better on her CD then live. Couldn't hear what she was saying to much and the crowd wasn't so pumped up for her. Poor Joanna. She did 5 songs as well ( I think )
Time for Nick YAY!
The Dodge commercial came on and at that point I was so flippin excited. The only bad thing about where I was sitting was that we had speakers directly in front of us. I think I may of lost some hearing last night. The drums and bass were LOUD! But not complaining front row was great. The sheet comes down and then up pops Nick's shiloutte(sp). I hate to say it but I really cant remember what song he did 1st. Maybe someone can help me out and post that info for me later. I know I Do It For You was one of the 1st songs he did. His voice is sooo powerful. I remember him singing Everywhere But Here, very intimate with that song. Shades Of Blue was awesome, then came SLAVE ( i want the mp3 of that song ). The girl he picked was playing right along with him. She was fanning herself and saying stuff like bring it on. She was so cute. He bowed down to her @ one point in the song and I think the whole theater died right there. I love that when he walked off stage after that he started to sing Father Figure. At one point in the show I seen Nick's bodyguard come and stand directly beside me, 5 seconds later Nick comes over and sings to the girl not to far down from me. Got some great pictures from that. Then comes the 98 degrees song. I really wasn't paying attention and I notice someone shorter than Nick walk out and at that point I knew who it was DREW. I have video but its kinda jumpy cause I was caught off guard. The crowd was going crazy. Not to long after that Justin walks out. We had 3/4s of the boys back. I guess that was our present for the concert being postponed. Nick then went on to sing another song and then came over to stand in front of the piano. Directly in front of me. Again got great pictures from that. I will be posting all of them up eventually. I really just wanted to reach out and touch him but decided against that. Resolution was AWESOME. I dont think a song gets better than that. I love how he sings that song. Whats Left Of Me was just was good. The crowd was really singing it back to him. At the end of the song he once again got down on his knees and sang to a girl ( I tell you all these lucky girls ).
Seeing Nick from front row is something everyone must experience. Its so personal when you are that close to him. You rarely see performers who are that intimate.
~Nick kept saying how great the Buckeyes were and pretty much kept talking about Ohio State throughout the whole show. Said he has a tough time when Ohio State plays USC at the Alamo bowl~
Buses were crazy. Right away we were told that he had left, yea right, we dont believe them for anything. But alot of people did end up leaving. There was only about 20 of us left for awhile. Never got to see Nick he went out the front door when Drew came out the back. I guess it was a good distraction. I tried to stick around and wait on Derek to come out because I had some things to tell him but it was to cold and I never got to see him either.
