We got to the Ryman at 7pm. Waited by Nicks bus for like an hour and a car pulled up and Drew & Tony (Mason’s dad from Newlyweds) got out and got on the bus. Everybody was screaming for Drew. We waited a little bit longer and Nick & the guys got off the bus and got into a car that drove them around the building to a stage entrance. People were going nuts, screaming for him. We go inside and see Landon and Melinda from The Real World. They were there promoting Yfly.com. We stopped and talked to them and got our picture made with them. They said they were staying in Nashville tonight and hanging out with MJ from Real World (he lives here). Landon is HOTTER in person then he is on TV. Ok, so we finally go inside and get in our seats. Watched Dirty Blonde and Joanna, they were good. Around 9ish Nick comes out and the place goes crazy. I was really surprised there were so many men there. He went through all the songs he’s done at other shows. He sang Slave to a girl in the audience that had on a Cincinnati hat. He sounded so great live. Just as good as he does on the CD. I was in awe. He is sooooooo gorgeous. Much better in person. He was very happy acting and very upbeat. The audience was really into the show and sang along the entire night. I could see Drew on the side of the stage making pictures. He never came out for people to see him. So the show ends and we rush back outside to the bus. We got right in front of the bus door. Waited for 30 minutes and Tony came out and I for the life of me couldn’t remember his name so I yelled “you’re Mason’s daddy†and he turned around and smiled real big and said “yes! How are you?†He gets on the bus and a bit later comes back off to go to the luggage storage on the side. I ask him if he had any new pictures of Mason and he did on his phone so he showed us. Mason now has a little brother named Tyler. The picture was precious. He also said that Mason was going to the Louisville show on Monday and that he said he was going to sing with Nick. LOL! Tony told Mason that Nick only had one microphone and he said he would bring his own. LOL! I asked him how it felt for people to recognize him because of his kid and he said it felt good. Made him want to go home and hug him, that he missed him. Tony told us that they were all going to watch the Bengal’s play in Cincinnati on Sunday. I asked him if Vanessa was there and he said yes. I asked if they all liked her and he replied, “Yes, she is very sweet, we like her a lot†He told us that Kevin Richardson from the Backstreet Boys was there. And some lady said he sat with Vanessa during the show. Tony said that he was really cool. He said that Nick would be out in a bit for us to hang tight and that it was nice talking with us… and he got back onto the bus. Few minutes later a SUV pulls up to the bus and Drew gets out first. Nick next but he stays at the car to help Vanessa out. So they come to the door of the bus, Drew gets on and then Vanessa… people were screaming for them all. Vanessa was really pretty in person. Very pretty. Nick stops at the door and turns around and taps hands with us that were standing right at the door. Gets on and the door closes. It was a GREAT night. We had a blast! Nashville loves Nick, that's for sure.
