OK: I listened to Jessica on the air this morning on the "Kidd Krad[friend] in the morning show" I tried to take notes using shorthand, so hopefully I got it all. If not and someone else also listened, please feel free to fill in the blanks, or clarify anything I may have misstated. Here goes:
Jessica was on at approx. 9:25am est time, and Kidd played some of her songs. She said that she rehearsed from 9:00am - 11:00pm on Thursday, and that she was tired.
Kidd/Eric asked her how long Nick was staying, and Jessica said that Nick and Drew is staying for one week and then they were going back to LA because Nick is busy right now. But Lea (Drew's wife) is hanging with her, and that Lea helped with the staging and equipment. She also said "this is kinda the girls hanging out tour." She mentioned that "Nick is a free agent now but has a lot of offers made to him, so it is just a matter of making the right decisions."
Eric/Kidd said Jessica smelled like vanilla, and remembered that she does have the Dessert Beauty line, and asked her if that was what she was wearing. The DJ's told Jessica that some kid told their Mom yesterday that they saw Nick in Dallas on a flight, and that she was scared because of the bad weather, but felt better since she saw a celebrity on the plane.
The DJ's went on to ask Jessica when "Newlyweds" were going to be on again, and she said they have one more season to do, and then they are done, and they are going to move. Kidd then asked her if they were moving because the house was [arse]ociated with the show, and Jessica replied that everyone pretty much knows where the bathrooms are in the house. She also said that they want to move closer to LA but somewhere in the hills, maybe Moholland Hills (sp). EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT SHOULD HAPPEN.
Kidd asked Jessica about her jealousy and she said she was very jealous at the beginning of their marriage, but she is not jealous anymore. They asked her about when she and Nick call each other, and Jessica said "we are easy-going, so he can call me anytime, and I can call him anytime." Then Kidd mentioned that Jessica was jealous when Nick did a video with Ali Landry years ago, and that Jessica did not like that at all. Jessica said "I was very young at the time and Ali Landry was very hot." The DJ told Jessica that Ali is now single again so she should watch out. Jessica replied that she is not worried, because Ali is 6feet tall, much taller than Nick, and Nick likes small girls. And she insists that she is not worried at all.
One of the DJ said "Nick is so cheap," and Jessica replied "he is getting better. I am now bringing in some money, so I was able to treat myself to a German beads and pearls necklace from Sak's Fifth Avenue." The DJ's went on to ask her if Nick was upset that she was bringing in the money and Jessica said "heck no, he is not mad about me bringing in money, because Nick brought in all the money at the beginning of our marriage." YEAH FOR NICK. Eric (DJ) then said that Nick scored cool points when he did that duet with Night Rider (kit) on the Variety Show and asked the audience if anyone watched it, in which everyone said yes.
They asked Jessica when she is home if she hangs-out, and she said she wears lots of sun dresses, and Kid asked if Nick wore sundresses too? Jessica replied "I hope not, atleast not when I am around." They talked a little about Ashlee and the rumor that Nick Carter is flirting with her, and Ashlee called their Mom last night and was really worried. Kidd asked Jessica if their Mom gets upset at the rumors, and Jessica said "my mom get very defensive and will call up the reporter and ask them, "how would you like it if I did this to your daughter or to your son?" then the reporter will feel bad and write something nice the next week."
The DJ then brought a 8 year old girl on stage to sing to Jessica, and the little girl sang 'With You' and got to take a picture with Jessica. Kidd then asked Jessica how many kids she is going to have, and Jessica replied "I don't know, ask me again after the first one." (I CAN DEFINITELY RELATE TO THAT. THAT IS WHY MY TWO KIDS ARE 9 YEARS AFTER, MUCH RIBBING FROM MY OWN DAD).
Jessica said she likes Marroon 5, she thinks they are a great group of guys, and she just met Prince a couple nights ago, at the House of Blues. He did a concert for 50 people, and she was invited. Justin and Cameron was there too.
They talked about the incident at Nacional in LA, and Jessica said that they have some very mean bouncers there, and that one of them threw one of her friend out by the neck and she was upset, because his credit was declined. She said she offered her credit card to pay (come to her friend's rescue), but she was thrown out of the club too. She said she started to cry because they were several paparazzi (sp) and journalist there and she was scared.
She wrapped up by saying that her tour will take her to 41 cities in 9 weeks, and that she is doing 5 shows a week. The DJ's asked her, then what after that, and she said she is going to do a Christmas album, and then go right into Dukes of Hazzard. They asked her if it was official, and she said "pretty much." The DJ's then asked Jessica where she liked to vacation and she said Cabo San Lucas because it is 2 hours away from LA. Kelly (DJ) said she liked Cabo too, so Jessica told her she hoped to see her there.
The DJ's wrapped up by wishing Jessica luck with the concert tonight. They told Jessica to get some rest, and mentioned how cool Joe Simpson was, that even Nick is really a cool guy, and Jessica is so nice and genuine.
