Meeting Nick Lachey In Minnesota

[attachmentid=1234]okay so yesturdays concert i got there around noon . and finally nicks bus comes around 2pm . he stays in there untill 4pm . there is probably 10 girls there then and he just waves at us and walks into the venue. me and my friend were the only ones that stayed around and finally around 5pm nick walks out and and i yell: NICK CAN I GET A PIC WITH YOU? and he says yeah just a second . and he walks into his tourbus and his body guard walks off and says that he's not doing pictures but just autographs. so he signs my cd . and about 20 min later nick walks off the bus and points to us and says i want to go over there . he walks over and is eating a pretzel and he's like SORRY I"M FINISHING MY PRETZEL . i say: nick, you can do whatever you want ! haha . and we get a pic together :) yayaya !

Hey Stranger!!! (nicksnumberone). It's Tara from Minneapolis. We met at the parking lot where Nick was. I'm still waiting for my emailed pic!!! Anyway ya'll I met Nick too and got a pic. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to give my story and post my pics (I have quite a fe good pics of that sexy man!!!!! You're gonna love them!

Since I was with Nickisnumberone, my story is basically the same. I met up with her and her friend about 5 minutes before Nick came out. It was unbelieveable seeing hime for the first time and he was walking right towards us. I will post more pics!!!

Here is one of many I got at the concert. He was amazing! He was sick but he sounded great and he was his usual self on stage.

I am from Canada - to answer your question! I decided to go to the Minneapolis concert rather than the Toronto concert and I am GLAD I did!!!

Vanessa was there. We saw her run in to the tour bus from the Limo really quick. She didn't look at us at all. We yelled out her name but no response. Of course when Nick came out, everyone went crazy but he didn't wave or anything.

I also talked to Robbie for awhile. He signed my CD. He is SUPER nice!!

Here's my review on the concert and I will post more pics for you.

As you obviously all know, I was there in time to meet Nick and take a pic with him. He was also nice enough to sign my CD. When he came out to see us, he was really quiet and didn't say much. He let Tommy do the talking. I'm going to blame that on him being sick! I hope he isn't like that all the time! After the pics, he had to leave to go to a bowling alley to see some contest winners. When he got back, Vanessa was with him. The limo driver probably went and picked her up from the airport on the way to pick up Nick. Once they both got out of the limo (Vanessa got out first) and went into the tour bus, me and my friend made our way into the theatre. I bought 3 shirts (I'll post pics for those who want to see the merchandise). Our seats were awesome! We were really close to the stage and could see Nick clearly.

He opened the show with Outside looking In. The other songs he sang were (not in order as I don't remember the exact order):

- Everywhere But here
- Beautiful
- I do it for you
- Ramble On
-I can't Hate you anymore
- Shadese of Blue
- You're not alone
- Run to me
- I fall in Love again (Soulo)
- Slave (He sang to a girl in the audience)
- Higher Ground
-The hardest thing
- I do cherish you (acoustic I think)
- What's left of me was the encore

I was hoping he was going to do resolution but he didn't. That sing is challenging enough to sing on a good day but I can imagine when you have a cold and are congested, it's hard to hit the falcetto. He actually told us that he considered cancelling the show b/c he woke up not feeling well but he said he couldn't do it. He played for just about an hour and a half. He was having some throat concoction being made backstage to help his throat. He called it an ancient chinese remedy and laughed and rolled his eyes. I don't think he believed it was going to do anything for him! He sang amazingly well for someone who was sick. He was a completely different person than the one I met out in the parking lot. he has a spark when he's on stage that I didn't see when I met him.

The opening acts were both great. Dirtie Blonde came on first and then Joanna. I met Joanna after the show. Me and my friend that I was with went out for some drinks at an outdoor patio and she walked by. I said hi to her and told her she was great. She was really nice.

Yes that's me - Thank you. My hair was a disaster because I went on a day cruise before the concert and my hair was windblown!

I'm glad Nick was able to perform. Sounds like you had a GREAT concert! I hope he takes it easy, the tour isn't even half way through yet. I was watching TRL Live on Overdrive last week (behind the scenes on the web). Vanessa was late getting to work on Thursday because she was sick. Haha. She was so adorable about it. Her stylist had her wear a dress and every time she sat down she would tuck her legs under her dress. She was freezing! Poor thing. I guess we know where she got her cold though.

I brought his CD. I don't know where you get the 8X10 pics from. I saw others just bring a note pad. I wanted to bring my Soulo CD for him to sign instead of WLOM but I forgot!!!

I don't know... I think that's a lot to ask. If I were you, I would bring Soulo. I think it would make Nick happy to see that fans are acknowledging that CD too and not just WLOM.

Question! When i looked at Nick's formatiev year pixs there was tall guy in one of the pixs at the pizza place (I think) who looked to me like his bodyguard tommy. Does anyone else know if he is one and the same guy in the pix when Nick was younger? Just wondering if he hired an dold friend etc. I think it is pix # 7.
