Nick-Indianapolis 500/Miller Lite Carb Day

Is Nick hosting the Indy500 Miller Lite Carb Day festivities? I am sure that I read it somewhere else that he was. I know he is waving the green flag for the start of the race as well. Im just wondering if Wireimage will be posting photos of Carb Day sometime soon, either today or tomorrow. Anyone know?

Yes, He was scheduled to host the Miller Lite Carb Day Concert yesterday (Thursday) evening at 5:30pm Indy time. I watched ESPN2 and saw highlights of the concert, but did not see the beginning of it. Maybe someone from Indianapolis who post on this board can fill us in. I checked www.wireimage.com this morning and they only had pictures of three celebs that was there. Maybe wireimage is not done uploading pictures, so we should check back later.


NOTE: If anyone is from Indy and you went to the concert, can you please post your experience?

Nick did host the Miller Lite Low Carb Day Concert in Indy yesterday. I found two pictures at the following site: http://www.indy500.com/

Then click on the photos button then click on (10). You will see two pictures of Nick there. I called to get digital images so I could post them on this site, but the Company said they don't do that, but I could order prints. The Pictures are #4127 and #4128.

The prices are: 8 x 10 = $10.00
5 X 7 = 7.00
4 X 6 = 4.00

The company said they are for personal use only because it had the trade mark at the bottom. So if you want copies there is a number listed to call and order them. I did place an order. There is also a picture there of the aerial view of the concert which looked like they had a large crowd. So hopefully someone from this board was there and can give us a full recap. Have a good weekend and a safe holiday on Monday.

You can buy the red/white Miami Redhawks mesh trucker hat that Nick is wearing in the two above photos (and in the Kelly Slater Invitation FIJI pics) from the Miami University Bookstore in Oxford Ohio. The hat retails for $14.95 plus 7.00 UPS shipping. The hat and other items such as a Miami (Ohio) hooded sweatshirt etc were shipped to Nick via his PR people to see if he would wear them publicly, it was considered a PR stunt according to the catalog manager at the bookstore who I talked with. I hope this helps someone out if they were looking for the hat he is wearing.

There are several pictures of Nick, and a couple with Jesse Palmer at the Indy500 website. http://www.indy500.com Click on photos, then click on May 28, 2004. The box 2 and 3 have the pictures. Maybe someone will have better luck than me in downloading them to this site. I only got a picture and of Jesse, and I am not having any luck getting it on this site. I will keep trying though.

Dolphinic: Thanks for posting the pictures. Can you post the picture of Nick and Jesse, and the one in box 3 where he is doing an interview? It look like Jessica may have been standing to Nick's left, but they cut her out of the picture. I like those too. Nice job and thanks again.

Also, here is Nick's comments after racing in a Pace Car at the Indy500 field yesterday (05/28/04).

NICK LACHEY: “It’s unreal. There’s so much power, and when they bank into the turn like that, it’s pretty intense. A lot of fun. It’s what I expected; I expected it to be fast and the way it handles, and the way it can corner and it can handle. It was awesome.” (How does this change your expectations for the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday?): “I just can’t believe they stay in that little space for that long, it’s got to be tiring. At the same time, it’s got to be a huge thrill out here in front of hundreds of thousands of people doing what you love to do. It’s anyone dream, doing what you love to do and having people appreciate it. It will be a huge thrill for them and for us.”

YES....I love the last one with Nick and Jesse. I have a feeling with these two men having a woman name Jessica, that they are going to become great friends that hang out together a lot. JMO.
