First off, you have got it so wrong on beauty pageants just like millions of Americans out there. I will save my time by not even trying to explain.

You can't really knock someone just because he or she said V was natural beauty. Just because people are saying that V was doesn't mean that Jess can't have other compliments. Someone already commented on Jess that she has the girlnextdoor look. What is so wrong about it just because posters didn't say that she was natural? It's all in the eye of the beholder.

To sum it up in a nutshell, I just think people have put a lot of expectations on Jess and not quite sure she asked for them, I mean still now to this day,....8 years later while she is an adult, divorced and trying to make a life for herself. My guess is when she said she wanted to set an example for the teens she was mostly talking about when she was a teen herself. I didn't take it to mean for the rest of her life that she was gonna be held accountable for every little thing she said and did. That's unrealistic and unfair to her. And I'm not saying anyone has to agree with Jess or like her just saying to pick on every little thing doesn't make sense. We have all done things we didn't think we would do and did we really need someone reminding us of our faults or how we let them down 24/7?? Meanwhile, I notice, it's like V can do no wrong! She hasn't even done anything to earn the loyalty but none-the-less people praise her as if she is some leader. And just because "she isn't J" is no reason to welcome her into the castle just yet.
Personally, I don't care who Nick dates, however it doesn't make sens to cheer Nick on with his one night stands and then cut up Jess for dating someone herself.

Secondly, the moment Jess said that she wanted to be a role model for girls, yada yada, she had it stamped on her forehead forever. In the Simpson camp, there is no doubt that they have a reputation and image to protect. I don't think we'll see her going bare on the cover of W with only a necklace on anytime or later on her life because to her, it's sending out a wrong message.
