View Full Version : Saw Nick Last Night
Hey Everybody,
So we drove about 400 miles, over 6 hours, got stuck for an hour in construction traffic in ATL and I have bruises on my leg and my arm, from being smashed against the rail; Oh and I lost my voice, BUT it was so worth it!!!! We ended up on the FRONT ROW :Big Grin: :dance: :Love: :yahoo: for the Valdosta Concert! AwEsOmE! There is not much more that needs to be said! He is soooooo beautiful!!!!! We were supposed to have 3 seats, one in row M and two in row U. About 15 minutes before Nick came out the security guy said that we could move up; but if the owners of the seats came we would have to go back to our seats. So we got up and ran. :) Along with about 15-20 others. And we got to stay!!!! Still can't believe that one. We got to meet Robbie and Nick's bodyguard; (can't think of his name now) and got their autograph. (can't read the bodyguard's). But, not Nick. :( His Bodyguard said he was already in the shower, they had to leave for Cincinatti. My step-daughter said when he was singing Beautiful she saw him tearing up, and the girl behind me said she saw it to. I saw it but I thought it was sweat. Who knows? Anyway, we have about 200 photos, I will some post when I get home, it will be late this afternoon, we are still in Valdosta.

Sounds like a great show! What songs did he sing off WLOM? Did he sing any 98 degrees songs?

I was there too! The best part of the evening were during the last two songs (Resolution and WLOM) and everyone just ran up to him. He was totally loving that. LOL. I drove two hours to see him and will drive two more hours next month to see him! :D
It was a great concert!

The crowd was awesome, so in to him. He was wearing a brown stripe button down shirt, that fit him just right. He sounded so good. So pure.

Where did you sit?? Did you make it to the fence when everyone ran up front? Awesome wasn't it. Are you going to the Atlanta or Nashville concert?

Somewhere in the photos there is close up of when he may have had a tear. I will try to find it, it may take awhile though. We had three cameras/sd cards. I'll post when I find it.

I think it's sweat. He's even said concerts give him a great cardio workout because he sweats so much. You can see it on his neck and on his shirt. He'd have to be crying awfully hard to get the tears down that far.
I thought that it was sweat too. It was my step-daughter and another girl behind us who said it was a tear?
who knows. I still think it was probally sweat, but she was convinced.

The EOB is saying that Nick said he currently doesn't have any love in his life at the concert. Did he really say that?

I got this from a poster on the Jessicastyle forum, this poster went to his concert last night in Georgia.
It was a fun concert. But the opening act I hated!
He did keep mentioning that he needed love and that he has no love in his life. Which was weird since we have all seen the tabloids with him and Vanessa together. But he was super cute in person and way skinnier than I thought he was. Overall it was a great time!

He did say that he needed love in his life. I don't remember him saying that he didn't have any love in his life. But, it's possible, the crowd was verrrrry loud and he was hard to hear when he spoke, everytime he tried to talk people were screaming like crazy. I really think he was just playing the crowd. He was skinnier than I expected too, and a little shorter. But, trust me you won't care. It was amazing!
As far as the opening act, I really don't remember much about her, except I think she was from Australia. Mylinn maybe, not sure on that. I was busy playing with my camera trying to make sure I had the settings right before Nick came out.

He probably got skinnier because of the touring and flying around and lack of sleep.

I don't know if V was there or not. I Didn't see her.
As far as needing love comment, I think he was talking about the love of his fans. Just siking the fans up for the concert.
The set list. I tried. I asked the security guy for it after the concert and he said no. And like 5 minutes later the music director or what ever he was, he also played the piano, (Nick said he was something like that when he introduced the band); started giving the set list out, to the fans, but I didn't get one. :( Then right after that I turned around and another girl started going crazy that she had gotten Nick's water bottle.

I went with my daughter (9) and my step-daughter (20), they both love Nick to but not as much as me, of course. :Big Grin: Anyway, my step-daughter told her father after we got back that I was obsessed with Nick. :Blush: She thinks I'm a little crazy. :crazy: Hubby, said he already knew that. :Big Grin:
I am making him go to the Atlanta and Nashville concerts; he's really, really happy about that one.

Last night my husband and I went to see Nick in Syracuse, N.Y. We live just outside the city. I have been a fan for a long time, and I have seen many concerts here in Syracuse. I can honestly say Nick Lachey put on the best concert Syracuse has ever seen, and that includes Billy Joel and Elton when they came. I can't wait to see what the future holes.

lol! Personally, I wouldn't go by that because he may change it up at each show. lol. Have fun when you go though and who knows he may just call you up on stage..

he did go down the aisle at the show i went to in albany. he was in the crowd for a good while. cause he was serenading someone in the crowd. but i bet it all depends on the size of the crowd and the secerity whether he's gonna be going into the crowd at evey show or not

It looks like sweat to me. His brown shirt was sweaty too. But who knows. :Sigh:
In Valdosta he sang: Beautiful, Shades of Blue, Run to Me, WLOM, ICHYA, Everywhere but Here, Resolution, Outside Looking In, Led Zeppllin's Whole lotta love and another one I did not know.
Thats all that I remember. And those are not in order.
Thanks for sharing your exciting experience and thanks for posting the pics! Damn Nick looks great in that shirt! At first I thought it was a nice dark green khaki kind of colour! Heck he could wear nothing and still look great! :Blush: :Big Grin:
