I had so much fun up in the Dells!! I'll tell you all about it!!
Friday we finally left at 3 pm. What should have taken like 2 hours took us 4!! God, traffic really sucks. We kept getting stuck in broke down cars traffic and Memorial Day weekend traffic. But once we got there, it was all fun and game. We got there, checked in and got to our amazing room (didn't take pics, couldn't figure out brother's camera). Then since it was superly hot, we all, minus Katie's mom and sister Jeanette, went swimming. That was fun. Lol. We had to go indoor because the outdoor stuff closed at 6. But yeah. In order to get our wristbands for the water park, we had to take one elevator from the third floor down to first, then walk through the little kid pool area, up to the second floor, to get the wrist band. Then we had to go back down to get to the water park. Such a hassle just to go swimming. We decided whoever designed the hotel should be shot. Haha!!
Saturday we set an alarm and got up to go GO CARTING!! WOOOOOHOOO!! Lol. My god was it hot out. Lol. Stupid me wore flip flops, but whatever. That was fun. Then we all got hungry and went back to the hotel for more food. Lol. Then we changed and went swimming. All fun and games. Then it got way to hot and the water was just tooooooo cold for us, so we went back and got Jose (a friend of Katie's, he's 8). We then wen back to the indoor pool. That was fun. Then later that night we were all sick of swimming. Katie calls the front desk and asks what time the go carting closes at. They tell us that it closes at 10. YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!! Lol. We went back go carting... ONCE. Some drunks ruined it for us. Ugh!! So we went back and just chilled in the room for the rest of the night.
Today we all got up and showered. Yaya!! Lol. Made Katie's brother~in~law happay. Lol. I didn't feel like showering before then because I figured I was just going to end up smelling like chlorine (sp?) anyways. Lol :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: So after we got the last of the stuff loaded on the car, we noticed that the Hochunk Casino was getting there to pick people up. We were joking and said, "Look Mrs. O!!" All of a sudden Jeanette and Todd tell us that she's going to the casino!! We're like, yeah, right. Lol. She sure did. Lol. So we took Jose and went mini golfing. Then after mini golfing we went and met Katie in the indoor ride area. Soooooo much fun!! Lol. We did the bumper cars, and then Jose dragged me on the school bus. Lol. Then we went and got on go carts again. Lol. Then Jose dragged me to the bumper boats. We got out of line because they were only running two of the boats because the rest were broken. Blah. Then after that, I let him go on a go cart that he could drive on his own. Lol. Oh boy did he enjoy that. Then we walked around and found Katie and Thomas getting off of a go cart. Lol. Jose then wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride, so I went on it with him. Lol. I know, I know. Lol. Then I had to take him up this major hill. He kept looking at me like I was crazy for stopping. That hill sucks!! Lol. Then I went back down and found them again. Stupid hill, but it was faster because I was walking down hill this time. Lol. Then we headed back to the car. We left the Dells at about 3, and got back about 5:30ish. So all in all, my weekend was AMAZING!!
