Hey y'all
I have been toying around this idea for the last year or so now but I think I've offically come to decision on it. I think I am done with writing fan fiction. I have written it since I was 13, and some of the fun has worn off on it. I loved my time writing, it, but I don't think it's for me anymore. This doesn't mean I won't finish the ones I have going right now (ex: Unexpected, The Different Sides of Love, It Won't Happen).I still love writing those particluat stories and they will be finsihed one day. It just means i will not be starting any new ones. I am in no way shape or form done with writing all together. I just think it's time that I quit writing fan fiction. I will look back fondly on the days that I wrote fan fiction because it my escape from the world and helped my writing so much. And I made some cool friends that I enjoy talking to on the internet. (even though I don't talk to many of the people that I met during my *NSYNC phase anymore)
It was and still kind of is fun to make up all these fantasies with your favorite celebrities. It's just not the same connection that you feel when you're writing your orginial characters. It feels more real when you have come up with those characters fully through your own imagination, your own personal experiences. I think that i am going to switch over to orginal fiction full time now. It'll be practice to maybe see myself in a published writing one day. I have absolutely no idea.
I hope y'all understand. I have been wondering about this for quite awhile and decided now is the time to make a decision. I love y'all! :)
