Nick Fans Must Join Together!

Hi Everyone,

I don't normally post new topics but I felt the need to do this.

I don't know about all of you but I am sick of the wy Nick has been treated by the media and his record labels.

I think it's time for us to pull together and support our Nick and his new CD that is apparently supposed to be released in April 2006.

I know most of you have decided to buy the CD when it comes out which is great but I think we need to tell everyone we know to pick up a copy!! They won't regret it!

If this CD is marketed and promoted in the same way Soulo was than Nick does not have a chance at succeeding. So, we need to help him! It is our duty to help those artists that actually have talent and a p[arse]ion for music to succeed. It seems like so many people are successful off of zero talent just because of their name or whatever. This has to stop!

We need to get the word out that Nick is THE man!!!

If anyone else has any suggestions on how we can help promote Nick's new CD, please feel free to post your ideas!!

I forgot to mention that not only will it be nice to see a good guy succeed but it would be as equally gratifying to stick it to Jessica that Nick can be just as successful without her!

Don't get me wrong I like Jessica but I Loooove Nick! For many reasons. Mainly because to me he is the real deal and a nice guy. Nice guys seem to always finish last and that really pisses me off!!!

Plus, he's pretty darn nice to look at and I look forward to seeing him more in 2006!!!

Anyway, I think it would be great for us to maybe form our own "Lachey promotion" club. We can discuss ideas how we can help get the word out about Nick. At this point, I am willing to do almost anything to see Nick succeed. that's how tired I am of seeing him mistreated and talked down about by the media. It would be good to get members from all over the world in on the team so we cover the globe!! Some may think that such a small number of us can't really do anything to m ake a big difference but you would be surprised!!! I think we can if we are determined enough!

I'm kind of split about the musical direction he's going with, as far as his sound. Well, he said his record is going to be more rock, and less pop/r/b. If this new sound is like, say, "Speed of Sound" by Coldplay, or "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson, then I dig that. I just don't want him to be something that he's not. I think a good song that was performed this yr by John Legend,
"Ordinary People" would be perfect for Nick.

The site thing is a great idea...we need to do something that will get people to notice Nick and want to buy his CD!

I think if most people just give him a chance and listen to his music, they will really love it. I think alot of people don't want o listen to his music because 1) He was in a boyband and those that are anti boyband will automatically be anti Nick 2) He was married to Jessica so Jessica fans may feel disloyal to Jessica if they like Nick too 3)People have preconceived opinions of what his sound is before listening to him and giving him a fair chance

We need to come up with something that will have a chain reaction.. :)

While I think you've got a good idea - we need a better idea of when Nick's album is going to be released - FROM JIVE - not just based on what he's been saying when caught for soundbytes.

Part of the issues he had with Soulo were the constant 'promo' from fans - then last minute release date changes - on top of piss poor promotion from Uni (who sux anyway). Heck - they even changed the release date one time after the BestBuys flyer was sent out.

We have to come up with a way to promote the CD when it comes out. I have made that my mission for 2006. I normally don't get that involved with artists but with Nick, I want him to succeed and I am willing to do ANYTHING!!

If it's April, I would think the first single would be out sometime in February, early March.

He is still in the recording studio according to Drew. This was on ET last night. Nick left the recording studio and rushed over to watch Drew dance Thursday night. Drew told him he didn't have to, but Nick insisted.

I also can't wait for Nick's new CD. I think that he is treated unfairly by the media. I just found out yesterday the Lea and Drew are expecting. I'm so happy for them. Jessoca will never find a guy thet even compares to Nick. I cant wait to watch Dancing with the Stars tonight and see Drew I hope Nick is there also.

I think its pretty unanimous that his new single "What's Left of me" is freakin awesome!!! I cannot wait for the CD and I want more than anything for this CD to be successful for Nick.

Your right, but the ohter part of the problem was tha this first single "Shut up" was a little to different from what his -Younger_ fans were used to. It was a bad choice. I get that he wanted to break away form the boy band image, but there were other songs i would have wnt with before "Shut up"

"whats left of me " will appeal to a broader audience and will hopefully make this Cd much more successfull.

I heard her say in an interview not that long ago that her and her family "moved away" from the religion. She says doing that has made her less judgemental (whatever) and more open minded (oh we know that Jessica!!)

It's amazing how the Simpson family can justify absolutley everythng. They should come out with a book on "101 justifications for changing who you are to suit your needs and desires for fame and fortune".

That's the sad thing. Jessica, IMO has always made things about herself. She has a hiustory of making decisions on what is just best for herself. Let's see 1. When she first came into the industry she was dead set against portraying a sexy image. She came out with Sweet Kisses and didn't porttray the sexy image. 2. She was told that if she wanted to be successful, she needed to sex it up- So all of a sudden she is faced with whats more important - Her values or success? Well, she came out with irresistable and the video has her showing off her midrif (success won out). Then she decides that SHE needs to date other people and see what else is out there so what does she do? She dumps Nick. Then Sept 11th happens and she gets sentimental again and decides that her destiny is to be with Nick. So she gets him back. They then get married. Now my last point, I have no proof on but this is my take on it. She decides that she still needs to live her life, she got married too soon and she wasn't able to be succesful and married at the same time. Apparently that is too much pressure for a 25 year old. So, she files for divorce. ITS ALL ABOUT JESSICA!!

Her one mistake was not signing a prenup. She figured that at the time they were married, Nick was worth more than her and that would always be the case. So, she didn't sign a prenup because if things didn't work out, that was still a way for her to get rich! But that backfired and now she is the one to pay! The one thing that is oging to save her is that Nick is not a gold digger and will not take her for all he is entitled too. He's too good for that!
