View Full Version : How to add a link image.
If you want to link an image here what you do:
Step 1:
Type this fist:
Where is says yourlink this is where you add you link.
Step 2:
Then type: [img]http://thelinkofomage.com[img]
Where it says "thelinkimage.com" is where you add the link of your image.
Step 3:
At last you type: (http://yourlink.com)
and thats it.
F.Y.I: Please note that for some reason some links or images may not show up or work becouse of some firewalls so please double check you code and check on other computers to see if it can be seen.

is that just in a post or for siggies too because it didn't work in my siggy like that.
Well I would say for both. Some GIF and maybe some JPG may be corrupted in some way that it may be hard for some firewalls to detect whether its an image or something else so it wont let users see it. What i Suggest is creating your own banner or image and upload it to a place like angelfire or tripod and use that link, Even if you create you own some programs may not save things right or the place where you upload it to may corrupt the file too. I tested it by using my own image that i created in Illustrator 10 and it worked but when i tried using yours it didnt work, even when i downloaded it and uploaded it to my website root it didnt want to show up so that would mean that there is something wrong with the image. Also, some links may not work either but at the moment I dont know what type of links will work or not.
I will keep looking of a way to fix this, if theres any solution.

well annie told me last night that it was the firewall keeping her from seeing my image. anyway when she had fixed it to the way you have it i actually showed the url instead of applying it the link so i have no idea. and when i use angelfire the picture disappears eventually because of the whole bandwidth thing.
Annie tested other images that come from the site that you have your images in and she was able to see her images so I'm guessing that its the image it self. I’m going to try to download you image open it in FireworksMX and exporting it to see if that does any difference.
