I downloaded beautiful goodbye and really listened to the words. I now know why he wrote that
song. It relates to there big split announcement.

I hope he EXCELS now and the 98 DEGREES gets back into the recording studio.

I remember Jess saying they didnt sign a pre-nup so if they do Divorce Nick will get some money.

I hope her limelight starts dying down and HIS starts shining.

a good point! i'd never heard that he wrote the song about their 01 split... where does everybody hear these things and i still dont know!!!???

The whole idea of him writing it about the '01 split.... I think I read it from the Jess mb, but that was someone stating their opinion. I've never actually heard Nick say it. I don't think i've ever heard him talk about the song outside of the USO tour performance.

I just remember an episode in the final season of Newlyweds where Nick was talking about a song he was going to do on his new album and Jessica getting a little upset about the lyrics, and Nick telling her no - that it wasn't something he wrote recently - that it was lyrics from a song he wrote when they broke up for the first time and that he had just never done anything with them until now. I just [arse]umed he was talking about Beautiful Goodbye. I may be wrong.

yep, yep!! I so agree with you. & Those girls that Nick picked to sing Beautiful Goodbye to on Nick & Jessica's Varitety hour for supporting the troops did not know how lucky they were..I got so jealous..
