She seriously has to be one of the spaciest, ditziest people I've ever seen on TV. I watched Newlyweds tonight in absolute amazement... How does he put up with her?
She seems like such a genuine, sweet girl, but I think I'd smack her if I had to deal with her on a daily basis.
Am I totally off here, or am I onto something?

you're not off, late but not off lmao. we've been thinking pretty much the same thing around here well except i for one am not so kind. *evil laughter* but i'm an  really i am :D.
I think its all an act to bring people to watch the show. He puts up with it for one reason. Love. some people can only stand another person for that reason only and also like i said he know its all an act but i dont think he likes the idea of the image is creating for her and their relationship.

you're noble luis but i guess the way i see things is a little crooked lol. you say it's love and on some level i may have to agree with you but i think there are so many more factors around why or how he puts up with it. and you say it's an act and yet somehow i dont' think it is because well if it were she should be a much better actress when she gets roles and from what i've seen she's flippin' horrible at it. so i dunno what else to tell you.
well i know she's stupit by birth but the the director "sneez(father)sneez)" uses that make stupit remarks like that that will catch peoples attention specialy the media. This is a reality show well plan for month and they had to find ways to bring people to watch the show and what else then to have her act more stupit then what she really is. Look at her reatings of the show and her songs. If it wasnt for that she woulnt had made it anywhere. I just feel sorry about him. What has he gain from this? nothing. why? hes not in charge of the way the show go, and hes under a contract. They focus on her and that was the plan from day one. Its call marketing.

well that was all obvious and according to anners you don't watch the show so i don't know how well this will go over but this season has actually gone downhill from last season because of all the comments on her stupidity. so apparently their marketing has made an about face. and yes poor nick they really need to change the name of the show because it's no longer involving both of them mostly just her. *sighs and shakes head* i hate that her father gets so much control of the show. if you ask me why not just take nick out of the show all together and call it all access: Jessica.
I don’t watch the show but I don’t need to watch it to understand the concept behind it. Viewing the show doesn’t mean that people will understand it. I saw the first episode and that was enough. Just like the p[arse]ion of the Christ. Before I even saw the movie I understood its purpose and its target. And this show it’s all about $$$ and exposing Jessica so that her music will move up the charts. That is why I think the show will end soon. It’s all about the purpose of the show. And that show had no purpose, their excuse is to show the people the real life of a married star but that’s not the case. And if no one can see that well this is my point of view anyway.

Her father tries to set up the ditzy moments and later that may backfire. I think she's so over protected and inexperienced more than dumb. Nick knew how she was before he married her so he must accept her moments.

i honestly wonder how much he really knew. i mean how much time did they really get to spend together in those four years they were "together". and jess's ignorance is mostly due to her parents' not protection but they're feeling that if they don't keep her ignorant she'll actually get an iota of a brain and take their money away from them. i don't think they'll have to worry about that because even though nick can see what's going on he won't do anything about it because he lost his spine as well.

i never said watching it would make you understand it :P. nothing can really make you understand their lives as is. yes it is for marketing a sad attempt but yes it is. and you know it was supposed to be for jessica and nick but with her father in the seat of executive producer how in the hell could uni possibly think that it would help nick? joe has done everything for his daughter to make sure she got most well all practically of the exposure because in essence if she brings in the cash he gets the cash. what kind of a father is that. i hope that if they decide to make another season it's the divorce season because nick needs to get out of that. okay bad tangent but i needed to let it out :P.

you have a boyfriend so back off :P.

03-23-04, 11:50 AM
My boyfriend is a jerk and I'd leave him for Nick in a heartbeat, LOL. He knows it too (I told him last night).
My boyfriend is a preppy, Frat boy, socialite. His dad is a really successful lawyer here and so he's really uptight and the only time he ever has fun is when he's loaded (and I'm not talking about money). I'm not entirely sure that's gonna last too much longer, as he's been spending a lot of time with his friend Jessie...
Anyways, I got dibs on Nick, but I'll set you all up with someone hot too :D .
Baby_Girl89
03-23-04, 02:11 PM
dear i doubt you have dibs on nick. i do thank you :P. i'm completely single now and always will be as long as nick can be mine and that's until he's happy which he obviously isn't with jess. so he's mine besides don't you like jessica? that's not nice to do to her now is it? i don't like her so i'm not worried about sparing her feelings lmao.

Honestly? I think she's a space cadet. She reminds me of this girl at work (oddly enough named Jessica) who I want to punch about 90% of the time.
I'll tell you what. You can have Chris (my boyfriend) and I'll have Nick!!! Chris is a good guy (when he isn't around Jessie... wow are we noticing a trend?) I'll show you a piccy of him sometime! You can add me to MSN if you want and I'll show you.
Annnnnyways!! Nick is mine so :P .
Baby_Girl89

sorry nick is mine. i'm older so i win and i don't want chris. the way you talk about him makes me wanna punch him so i don't think that would work :P.

[hug] that's really the truth, they broke up once and now he's back with her. 911 was the time he asked her too be his wife. so we must take it and lat nick deal with the not so bright jess. :kissy: :P

when they came to kansas city this past January all she kept say to us is nick is my dream guy and nick smile and said well sometime she can run u in crazy when she say nick nick nick, all the time for any reason even if a little bug get on her body. then he said never take her on a camping trip like me and my bro and his wife that's a big NO_NO_NO_ but she said but u still love me right and he said maybe if you would be a better house keeper. but without make-up on she's not very hot like in most of her video trust me on this. he's very out going and just like too party after the show it's was of the chain :) :hehe: :P
