I saw it yesterday morning on VH1 and I hated it. It just doesn't go with the song at all.

If you saw them on tour when they explained the song meaning and the video, it does. The video premiered the day after I went and saw them so they were talking about it.

And the whole "rock" look thing theyre doing is b/c it's their first "rockish" song they've released.

It's their homage to the hair band era ;) Not every video have to be literally about the song. It's a big sing along song thus the big sing along video with weird characters lol! Great concept, even greater acting and an awesome song, vid's a winner to me :D
