How hard it is to use a "Pay at the Pump" gas station in Cali??

Neither Jessica NOR her manager Cacee (or however it's spelled) could figure out what the hell they were doing. If Cacee is that much of a dunce (since those pumps are very simple to utilize in WI at least) Jess needs a new road manager who can actually HELP her.

don't ask me sissa. i've been working gas pumps since like i was um 8 i think haha, my parents are weird they actually wanted me to learn how to be independent silly them :P.

I think that's one of Jess' biggest problems - her parents don't want her to be independent. My 12 year old can do laundry and work the pumps but then (I love both my kids bunches and bunches) I don't want them with me forever:) I know you have to protect them but you have to help them be functional too.

Thanks for listening.....

Ya know, I think you hit the nail on the head there - her mommy and daddy want to keep her dependent on them so they don't lose their money train (real nice of them to buy her a new BMW for Christmas with money SHE earned for them).

I seriously think Nick needs to FORCE the cord to be cut and get Jessica away from them if he wants ANY CHANCE of making this marriage work.

what is this independence you speak of i know of no such word :P not when i look at jess anyway. well she calls it independence and to me it seems dependence and independence seem to be the same thing.

sissa didn't you know the cord they cut when she was born was like a different one lmao. it wasn't the real one they were supposed to cut no that was just the visible one.

you know i've heard of spoiling your oldest but this is too much. oh but i've never heard of exploiting your oldest is that a simpson thing. you know i've been in the wrong for so long blaming jess for her problems it really should be her parents. i know that lots of people say that it's not always the parents fault but clearly it's at least half of them causing the problem. but jessica needs to learn how to be more [arse]ertive against them and nick needs to grow a spine and help her do it, because it's clear it's getting on his nerves too.

I guess Ashlee didn't earn as much, she got a watch for xmas and she "never wears a watch."

I think that Ashlee is actually much more self-reliant - and won't allow them to control her the way that Jessica has permitted it.

i really don't see what ashlee getting the watch has to do with anything lmao.

but anyway yeah my guess is when she was growing up her parents spent more time with the oldest than the youngest and she learned how to be more independent. i mean you see joe and tina on the show like all the time but not ashlee and why is that? it's because she's off doing her own thing running her own life instead of having her parents decide everything for her. but she certainly didn't learn how to be kind from being with her 'rents. maybe if she did i'd be more kind about her.

the pay at the pump ones here in town are impossible...they spit out the credit card like 3 times before they will accept it...drives me nuts!

but you do realize you can use a credit card there - and you know where to put the card to begin with, right, Gidg?

we all must say Amen if he don't it's will cause a big hole in the marriage and we all know that he's so in love with her, but if she's feels like her parents will hate her so what, that's nick wife an she's not a baby anymore. will it last stay tune to the nickfanatic board? :(

Well, I can't say I agree that he's 'so in love with her' - I have my theories on why he went back to her - and they involve being 30 years old - and scared $hitless after witnessing the attacks on 9-11.

especially after witnessing them first hand :(.
