I KNOW a Nick and Jessica duet won't be on Jessica's November released CD because Joe doesn't want them working professionally together anymore.

But on Nick's next CD - could be a possiblity. I personally would LOVE to see that. Then again, people will view them together again, as if they are a team together professionally or something...

it goes both ways! A Jess and Nick single could also boost CD sales for him.

What do you guys think?

I don't wanna see it happen - and Joe (and Sony) wouldn't allow her to be on a non-Sony release for Nick.

I would love for them to do another duet together since Take my breathe away was scratched as a duet. They make wonderful music together. I hope they consider it!

Please.......Please.........Please, no more duets for these two, Nick is certainly capable of performing a duet with another singer.

hmm...the only way i'd be happy about a new duet is if jess started singing like she used to...i can't stand the breathy/sexy style she has on "boots".

Loved the duet they did on her 'Sweet Kisses' Album! "Where you are" :)

I haven't heard 'Boots' as yet! I'm guessing it's not too crash hot yeah?

it all depends on your taste in music, Stace.

If you like hearing a grown woman sing like she's a little 3-year-old - you'd enjoy it (quite a few of her fans do)

I think if you go to sweetkisses.net you can d/l the song, but I'm not positive about that.

AMEN to that, AJ!!!!!!

I'm sorry people - but honestly Nick & Jess do NOT have complimentary vocal styles - EVEN when they did Where You Are on her first album...she screams/yells and overpowers whoever she is singing with - she did it to Brian McKnight on their Christmas Special - she did it with Ashlee on their Christmas Special - she has done it each and every time I've seen her try to sing with Nick. She can't stand being part of a team on a song - she needs to be the "front man" - and when performing with someone else - you aren't always up front - you share that role - something she hasn't yet figured out how to do.

Oh her duet with Marc Anthony she's a little better with the sharing.. lol.

Okay, then if Nick was to work with another artist (for a duet), who do you think would be a good pick?

Brian McKnight or Stevie Wonder would be awesome for guys, what about girls?

I was thinking MAYBE Kelly Clarkson or someone like that, but I think she would overpower like Jess, never know though... then who though?

What about Carrie Underwood? I could totally see them two.. vocally.

I would also agree there....Kelly's not bad to listen too actually! It's amazing how well she has done. That would be awsome though for Nick to do a duet with her.... :D

Rae, come to think of it! I'm not a huge fan of the airy fairy way that she is singing @ the moment....It's too over the top.... :(

I know neither one of them have a duet on their album this time around. I personally love when they sing duets together because I think they sound good together. But, I'm not sure they will do it anytime soon. I know they have more Variety Hours coming out where they will most likely sing together but, besides that I'm not sure what else they have in their plans as of singing together.

I'd rather see Nick doing his own music SOLO...no duets. Especially not with Jessica.

I rather see him do his own music Solo right now at least to get him boosted up as the amazing artist that he is.

One question for you though, aren't you a Jessica fan?

Calling me a fan until recently would be an understatement. I used to be beyond obsessed with her AND 98* (Thats where I first heard of her) to the point where it sickened and drove people absolutely nuts. My walls had LITERALLY over 3,000 pictures on it...and my list of being her fan went WAY beyond that.

Having said that, YES, I am still a Jessica fan, as big of one as I have been since Heat It Up? No, I'd be lying if I said yes to that, I've been trying not to admit and kept defending her on her "new changed self" but this fame has completely gone way WAY over her head and her performance just now on the VMA's is what brought the last straw and leads me to feel that way. I still love her, and I really hope its just a "phase" she's going through like her Iressistible era crap. I can't wait for "And the Band Played On" but I'm just disappointed with her lately.

That doensn't change my feelings on her and Nick doing a duet...I honestly (and its shocking to those that know me to hear this from me), but I am sick of Nick & Jessica doing PROFESSIONAL things together, it's beyond annoying and getting way OVER exposed. I want to see Nick making it on his own, with his own stuff. I thought doing TMBA was very cheesy. If anything it should've just been on the album and not released as a single.

98* was around before Jess, I fell in love with her SEEING 98* but Nick, I had always been a fan of first and after all these years...he's stayed pretty grounded. Just my opinion.

You know, as much as I like Nick doing duets- I just want to hear something new from him! ANYTHING!!! I loved "Beautiful Goodbye" on the tour of Duty. I'll take him anyway I can get him! (Wink)

I think most here would prefer him to sing without wifey, I just don't think that her voice flows with his, plus she always upstages the other person she sings with anyway.

I agree- I'd like to see him do more solo-he is very capable. They both used each other as a crutch in the beginning-she didn't get real big until the show-he is doing his thing, too. Many celebrities are married without involiving each other in everything.
