Jessica Simpson has a reality TV show, a sitcom pilot in the works and, oh yeah, a singing career. VH1 believes all that qualifies her for diva status.

Appropriately, then, Simpson will be part of the cable channel's annual "VH1 Divas" concert in Las Vegas. The show is scheduled for April 18.

Simpson, who stars with husband Nick Lachey in "Newlyweds" on VH1's sister network MTV, is a first-time Diva. She'll be joined at the "Divas" show by Patti LaBelle.

As always, proceeds from the show will go to the Save the Music Foundation, which provides funding for music programs in public schools.
