17 year old Gina marie parker watched from the sidelines where she cheered her boyfriend on as he ran down the football feild for another touchdown that ended the game.

Gina giggled as her boyfriend Damon lifted her off her feet and swung her in circles when he stopped swinging her he kissed her lips taking her breath away as he did times before.

"You were really great tonight." Gina said as she starred into Damon'a deep baby blue eyes.

"I should have done really great." Damon told her "i had the most beautiful girl in the world cheering me on."

"So what are we going to do to celebrate?" Gina wanted to know breaking yet another kiss between the twp of them.

"Sweetie the guys wanted me to come and celebrate the win." Damon said softly "you dont mind do you honey?"

"No of course i dont mind." Gina said with a smile "but do you mind if i dont come to the party this time?"

"Is there a reason why you wouldn't like to join me?" Damon asked "you've always been the party type."

"I am just kind of tired tonight that's all." Gina told him "i will just catch a ride home with someone."

"Well alright baby." Damon saidn before kissing her lips once more "i will call you in the morning."

Gina watched as Damon walked off she then caught the eye of one of her best friends walking off she had to get a ride.

"Drew wait up." Gina said as she ran toward Drew lachey the two of them had been best friend's since 8th grade.

"You looked great out there tonight." Drew said once Gina had caught up with him.

"Thanks." Gina said growing red in the face "look i need a ride home. Damon is going to some party to celebrate."

"And your not joining him?" Drew asked "something wrong?"

"Just tired." Gina repeated for the second time that night "in fact i've been tired alot these past few weeks."

"Maybe it's just the stress from school." Drew told her.

"Or maybe i am pregnant." Gina said as she lowered her head.

"Do your really think there is a possibility of that?" Drew wanted to know.

"Damon and i have only made love once but sometimes once is all it takes." Gina said softly as she got into the p[arse]enger seat of Drew's car.

"I am sure he has no ideia about this." Drew said as he pulled out of the schhol parking lot.

"I wanted to take a pregnancy test before i told him." Gina said "but i wanted to let you be the first to know."

"Why me?" Drew asked "i mean he should be the first one to know. he is the dad i am just your friend."

"You've always been the first i talk to about my problems." Gina said as she looked over toward Drew.

Drew sighed to himself as he continued to drive. the past month Gina had been the only thing on his mind. he wasen't sure why but he kept finding his feelings for her stronger than ever before.

"Is something bothering you?" Gina wanted to know.

"Just alot of stress from school." Drew lied. now was not the time to tell her how he really felt. maybe she would never know how he really felt for her.

"So are you going to tale a pregnancy test?" Drew wanted to know as he pulled into Gina's parents driveway.

"Yeah i went to the store last night and bought one." Gina said as she sighed.

"Call me as soon as you find out." Drew told her.

"Why dont you come over tomorrow night?" Gina asked "i am really needing some help with math."

"And i'm the only person you know who is really good in math?" Drew said as he smiled.

"Please i really need you help." Gina begged.

"Alright." Drew said as he smiled at her "call and let me know what time you want to start sutdying."

Drew watched as Gina got out of his car she looked so hott in her cheerleading uniform. as he pulled out of the drive he wondered how Damon would take the news of being a father.

"I would help her raise that baby if it were mine." Drew said to himself.

Gina was woken by the sound of the phone ringing not long after she had fallen asleep. sighing she rolled over in bed and lifted the reciver to her ear.

"Hello?" Gina said into the reciver.

"Hey honey i hate to call you so late but i need you to come and get me." came Damon's voice from the other end.

"Damon it's 3:00 in the morning and i am so tired." Gina said as she sat up in bed "have you been drinking again?"

"Yeah that is why i am needing you to come get me." Damon said "like i said i know it's late."

"Alright i will be there as soon as i get dressed." Gina said with a sigh before hanging the reciver up.

30 minutes latter Gina was picking Damon up at the party his lips met hers as he got into the car.

"Drinking beer tonight huh?" Gina asked as she drove away from the party.

"I know i should be more responsible." Damon told her "i mean i have all those schlorships."

"Have you decided where you want to attend college?" Gina asked as she tried to hide a yawn.

"I was thinking of going to college in California." Damon told her.

"No matter where you go were not going to let a long distance realtionship tear us apart." Gina smiled.

"Still wanting to attend school here in ohio?" Damon asked.

"Yeah." Gina said as she pulled her car to a stop in front of Damon's parents house.

Damon leaned in and kissed her lips once more he then broke the kiss and got out of the car.

"I love you." Damon said before he shut the door.

"Love you too." Gina replied before driving off.

the following morning Gina stood outside her bathroom door as sha paced the floors in her bedroom. seconds earlier she had taken the pregnancy test now she waited the 5 minutes.

When the longest 5 minutes of her life finally came Gina took a deep breath before going into her bathroom. tears filled her eyes when she saw the pregnancy test showed possitive.

Gina sunk down to the floor with the pregnancy test in her hand. she was only 17 she was in no way ready for a baby. maybe she had thought about the consiquences. would Damon be happy or would he leave her alone and pregnant?

Finding the strenth to get off the bathroom floor Gina made her way into her bedroom where she sat down on the bed then dialed a number on her phone.

"Hello?" came Drew's voice it sounded as if he were still asleep and Gina hated the fact that she had woken him.

"I'm sorry if i woke you but i took the pregnancy test." Gina said into the phone as tears still fell from her eyes.

"It sounds like your crying so i am guessing you and Damon are going to be parent's." Drew said as he sat up in bed.

"You guessed right." Gina replied "i have to call Damon and somehow figure out a way to tell him."

"Tell him you want to have lunch together and during your lunch together tell him." Drew suggested.

"I will call and let you know what happens when i get home." Gina said before hanging up her end of the phone.

Gina sighed before picking the phone up once more and dialing Damon's number.

"Hey baby." Damon said as he picked up the phone.

"How did you know it was me?" Gina asked.

"Caller i.d honey." Damon said with a laugh "i was just thinking of calling you and asking you to have lunch."

"Sure that sounds like a good ideia." Gina said as she sighed a sigh of relief.

"Is there a reason why you called me?" Damon asked.

"I will tell you once i get there." Gina said as her stomach began to form a knot.

"Meet me at the new mexican restraunt in about a hour." Damon told her "i love you."

"Love you too Damon." Gina said before hanging up the phone then going over to her closet to decide what to wear.

Walking into the restraunt with her stomach still in knots Gina noticed Damon had already got thier booth. Damon smiled and stood to his feet when he saw Gina enter the restraunt.

"Hey baby." Damon said once he had greeted her with a long and p[arse]ionate kiss.

"Hey handsome." Gina replied as she took a seat in the booth across from him she smiled when he took her hands in his.

"I was waiting for you to arrive before i ordered." Damon told her "i know how you hate when i order before you."

Gina found herself starring into Damon's eyes they were so beautiful and blue. his body was so muscular and tanned. and of course she always loved how his hair always framed his face.

"Is something bothering you?" Damon asked noticing how quit his girlfriend seemed. of course she was always quit but never like this.

"Damon i am needing to tell you something but i am not sure how to tell you." Gina said as she sighed.

"Angel you know you can tell me anything and i will be perfectly fine with it." Damon smiled his heart warming smile.

"I am not sure your going to take this news well." Gina told him "i mean this news can ruin your football career."

"Please sweetie just come right out and tell me." Damon said as a waitress appeared at the table.

"Damon i went and got a pregnancy test and i took it this morning." Gina started nervously "were going to have a baby."

Damon starred at Gina with a shocked look in his eyes. in fact the entire restraunt had heard the news.

"Damon please say something." Gina begged.

"I'm sorry i've got to go." Damon said his voice shakeing before he stood to his feet and within seconds was out the door.

Gina sat there in the empty booth alone with tears in her eyes with her head looking down at her stomach. she exspected this to be Damon's reaction but it still hurt her.

Gina got out of the booth and left the restraunt she got into her car and drove to a place everyone called the bluff.

The bluff was a huge cliff and at the bottom of that cliff stood a dangerous body of watter. people had been killed while jumping off the bluff.

You had to be careful if jumping and make sure you hit strait in the middle where the watter was the deepest. if not diving into the middle you ethier got hurt badly or you were killed instantly.

Gina took a deep breath with her eyes closed. she no longer felt like she had a reason to live. she and Damon were probably over and Damon was and had been her only reason for living. or so she thought.

Takeing one more deep breath and letting it out slowly. she postioned her body into a diving postion and prepared to end her life right then and there..

Gina was about to make the dive when someone grabbed her around the waist and pulled her away from the edge of the cliff then set her back on her feet.

"What were you thinking?" Drew asked as Gina turned to face him "and dont tell me you were heading for the middle."

"I told Damon about me being pregnant and he got up and left the restraunt." Gina said softly "i wanted to end my life."

"Because you thought you had no other reason to live right?" Drew asked as he starred into Gina's eyes.

"You have always known me better than i know myself" Gina said as she sighed "but to answer your question. yes."

"What about that baby in your stomach?" Drew wanted to know "that baby deserves to live and that baby needs it's mother."

"I was so upset i didn't even think about the baby." Gina said as she placed her hand on her stomach.

"We do some stupid things when we are upset." Drew agreed "but wanting to end your life? is Damon that important?"

"Drew he is my first love so what do you think?" Gina asked.

"You dont know how many people really love you do you?" Drew wanted to know "no ideia at all."

"Look i know i have alot of friends who care about me but Damon is my reason for living."

"You dont the real truth about Damon." Drew said as he sighed "i didn't want to be the one telling you. but Gina he is cheating on you with the head cheerleader."

"How do you know that Drew?" Gina asked with anger "how dare you try to break me and Damon up. your such an jerk."

"If you want to see a jerk go find your precious Damon and then you will be starring into the eyes of the biggest jerk you will ever meet in your life."

"Your not telling me how you know he is cheating." Gina said.

"Nick was at the party last night. he saw Damon all over michelle johanson." Drew said as he hopped onto the hood of his car.

"How long have they been going out behind my back?" Gina asked after a few moments of silence.

"I heard they were at another party last month and they got caught in the parent's bedroom making love." Drew said.

"Just what i needed to hear tonight." Gina said as the tears that had gathered in her eyes began to fall.

Drew sighed to himself as he saw the tears begin to fall. he always hated seeing Gina cry. a girl as beautiful as Gina should never have to cry.

"Could you do me a favor and follow me home?" Gina finally asked.

"Sure i could do that." Drew said as he got off the hood of his car "and i am sorry i was the one who told you."

"I'm glad you told me." Gina said "and i am sorry for calling you a jerk."

"Your pregnant i was exspecting a mood swing." Drew said with a laugh before he got into his car.
