None of the choices are good. Melissa is very annoying.

According to E!Online, they're only camera testing the three women, which they will do next week....they're the serious contenders. If it doesn't work for any of the women, they will rotate hosts each week with past contestants such as Nancy O'Dell, Drew Lachey, Joey Fatone and so forth.

I'm rooting for Vanessa to get it, at least she's had tons of hosting experience and she wasn't that bad on TRL.....she was actually funny with personality PLUS she could use a full time gig........LOL

I just can't stand to watch Melissa or Brooke(still pissed she won)...Samantha was bad enough.

if Vanessa gets it deal with it cuz its just life. life goes on without u if u dont want to watch it with Ness. There are more like 9 minnilloin peopple watching it every week.

I can see Brooke Burke getting it. However, I don't care for her hosting. i didn't care for her on Rockstar. Vanessa would be good. I think melissa is annoying too.

Having a guest co-host each week would add interest to the show so that would be interesting if they did that.

to target young audiance they should give it to Vanessa she is fun and young. i dont care for the rest.

Melissa was great on New Years Rockin' Eve, she was a real natural. She also has segments on GMA and ET. I think she would be great as a host because she was on DWTS and made it to the finals. She's energetic and has a great personality, I really don't understand why so many people think she's annoying. I'd rather Melissa get the hosting job than Vanessa. I didn't think Vanessa did that well hosting the Golden Globe preshow on NBC. She seemed awkward during the interviews.

To make matters even worse, one of my favorite pros(Lacey Schwimmer) will not be on DWTS this season...bummer! I love Lacey's edge.....she's fierce.

She just tweeted the information, but didn't state why.

No Lacey or Julianne....that really sucks!

Has anyone heard who the new co-host will be?

I've been on so many DWTS sites, and the majority of people seem to want Drew as co-host....LOL...a lot of people loved him when he filled in for Samantha when she was on maternity leave.

I just hope it's not Brooke...please please not her.

Now Examiner.com has the inside scoop! No, Melissa Rycroft is not the show's new co-host, at least not yet anyway. A rep for the network tells Examiner.com, "We will make an announcement regarding the co-host position soon, perhaps as soon as next week." ABC didn't, however, go so far as to deny Rycroft would be named the next Dancing With the Stars host

Brooke Burke is the new co-host. A really good choice I think since she won a couple of years ago and will know what the contestants are going through.

Just read that vanessas new show. This little piggy is dead and is not goin to be picked up for the fall season. That's sad. I'm thinkin they are goin to start living in cincinatti now.
