Time for my rants up to the 1/2 way point of the show

1) Yes, Jess - Minnesota has Tornados during the summer months. Not in the winter - but between about April until Sept/October - they do occur if conditions are right.

2) MISS J. Simpson on the artist sign on her dressing room door? Hello - she's married - it should be MRS. even if they keep the J. Simpson (and since she hadn't yet changed her name at this point - it would be appropriate)

3) All those little rat-puppies were adorable.

Loved the line when Nick was taking the pup (now known as Daisy) to the venue to surprise Jess - "I mostly want Nick wrapped in a bow" - Drew: "Wanna throw a bow on quick?"

Gotta love the smart-[arse] little bro :)

OMG I loved this episode, it was great. I love how Nick was sneaking around to surprise his wife... They make such a darn [arse] cute couple... they are great for each other. I loved it when Nick gave her, her puppy then sat her down and sang to her... it was awsome... And poor Jessica, it was so sad to see her so upset when Nick told her he couldn't be there. Sure his story sounded fishy, but come on... with her worrying about her concert and then her Hubby saying he's not coming, and then not have him at the concert, of course she's gonna think that he's story was true.... I recorded it so I can re-watch it when ever. Nick is such a sweet and romantic guy... I wont one...lol

But how the hell is it fishy to tell her that there is a twister in Minneapolis? they do hit there during the summer months - trying to tell her that the planes were grounded by RAIN would be much more fishy. It's not HIS fault she's an undereducated ditz who doesn't understand that anywhere in the midwest is a good place for tornados to hit.

It's a VALID REASON for him to end up missing the show - what else could he have said that actually MAKES SENSE?
