BUTT OUT, DAD -- Newlyweds stars Jessica Simpson and her husband Nick Lachey deny their marriage is on the rocks, even though he infuriated her by attending a bachelor party where porn stars performed sexy antics and he was accused in the press of cheating. Nick's also fed up with the way Jessica's manager dad, Joe Simpson, interferes in their marriage and tries to run both their lives. He's said to have told Joe: "It has to stop, or there really will be trouble between Jess and me ... "

PREDICTION: Joe Simpson backs off; he realizes their marriage is under strain and doesn't want to add to the problems.

Prediction: Joe Simpson doesn't give a rat's @ss about his daughter's marriage - and continues to be the meddlesome @sshole that he's always been - causing a divorce in the not to distant future.

Joe Simpson won't back off unless Jessica tells him to.
Beyonce, and Usher both have a parent as their manager, but they are rarely seen as much as this guy. He talks too much with the media especially tabloids. Everywhere that they make an appearance he is there. I'm sure it can be difficult being a manager and also the artist's parent, but if he wants fame for himself, don't try to achieve it at the expense of your daughters.

my theory is that jess has an electra complex. she secretly wants to be with her father, but knows that she can't so she stays married to Nick while letting her father run her life for her seeing it's the closest thing she has to actually being with her father.

oh now did i just tell everyone my mean and sadistic theory? oh well.

Her father is always in there life, and Nick and him don't get along... but I highly doubt that they will let him riun their marriage... though he really does need to butt out... I wouldn't believe all the articles though... Nick came out and told them that the mags said to them that they just publish it all tlo sell their mags...
