Just got the news -Tasha's bun FINALLY made it into the world!
He was born at 8:35pm (eastern time zone) by c-section and weighed in at almost 8 pounds (7 lbs 15 oz) and he was screaming (like her fave singer from A7x) with only his shoulders out.
Congrats Tasha! You're gonna be a great mommy to little Cian!

it's pronounced Key-un - an Irish name that Tasha fell in love with ;)

Thanks everyone for the congrats and compliments! He's my little man and I already don't know what I'd do without him! He's such a joy to be around, he's a nice and pleasant baby and just sits and observes and 'chatters' to us all the time. I thought I'd have a hellion child and I've been proven wrong! He only fusses when he's hungry or wet and he's hungry all the time, proving already that he's a growing boy!
I didn't want a c-section but alas things didn't go as I planned and in the end, I'm actually okay with how it all went. I have a lot of pictures up on my MySpace and just as soon as I can get the pc to work with the camera, there will be more. As far as his name, Rae gave the right way to say it (which I knew that she would seeing as she's been used to it for almost a year now! lol) It is Irish, my name is Russian. I have Irish on both sides of my family, namely my Daddy's side and that's another reason why Cian made it to the top of my list. He's got two middle names: Matthew (chosen for it's meaning and a fave singer of mine:embarrest:) and Allen, which is my Daddy and Grandaddy's middle name. I used my maiden name due to a reason I'm not speaking of as I still have my ex's name as I didn't change it during my divorce.
Anyway, thanks for all the congrats...sleep isn't a problem as I got used to the every 3-4 hour wake up rather quickly. He goes right back down after he eats which is wonderful.
Thanks again, I missed you all!
Get some rest while you can Tasha! I hear it only gets harder once they learn they have you wrapped around their tiny little fingers.
I can already tell that Cian is going to be one of those babies with a hundred baby books. You're going to be a great mommy!

LOL I've started one already! I have to get a box to stick in the bracelets and his little blood pressure cuff and other things that I've collected in the past two weeks. I'm a huge memory pack rat, so you've nailed that one on the head! In addition to pictures...goodness, I've taken over 400 so far. Every moment is a Kodak moment!!
He already has us wrapped, Tara! I believe at two weeks he knows it, too!
