OK - the wrapping paper is in the garbage now - so did everyone get what they really wanted/needed for Christmas this year?
I got a computer printer, laptop computer stand (so I can have a solid surface when i'm computing at places other than my desk) - so now i'm hopefully set to get my schoolwork done with my classes starting on the 5th.

Stocking stuffers:
*Chocolate
*Jelly Beans
*Snowflake ornament
*Fossil coin purse
Presents:
*Two shirts (One my mom picked out, one I picked out)
*19 inch flat screen TV with a built in DVD player (Only thing I asked for this year. I didn't expect it to have a DVD player. I can't wait to take it back to my dorm.)
*Borders and iTunes gift cards
I didn't want much this year. It was more fun watching everyone open the presents I got for them :) My mom tried to get me to open the TV package but I said, no that's okay, it can wait till the end.

my town - still pretty much impossible unless you are lucky enough to be at the store when they get it shipped in.

It's the same situation here as well. I would never have a Wii myself but others that I know have had a hard time simply finding them. One girl I know had to find out when the next shipment was at Wal-mart and get there first thing in the morning in order to ensure that she could get one and when she did, there was only one left. They are flying off the shelves like crazy I guess!

I would never buy a Wii for myself either. If I had one, I would play it a couple times and then it would just sit and collect dust LOL!
We got a great deal on one from Ebay in May. We love it. I did the same for the Wii Fit which santa put under the tree for the kids. They are still very hard to find anywhere. I really don't think nintendo expected them to be so HOT, but for a family with children I think it's a great deal. Also, it does not offer some of the horrible (not child friendly) games that the other consoles offer.
WOW! Sounds like everyone got spoilt! Boxing Day sales are great! :D Just getting there early to the shopping centre to get a park 1st and not leaving it till later. What a nightmare! Mad shoppers!
