OH WOW -
I spent the evening listening to country music by two of Nashville's finest - American Idol contestant and former Marine Josh Gracin - and Mr. Celebrity Brad Paisley...
I can't even describe it - although - I don't think it's as good as my Jeff T/Jim B experience last Feb gal pals ;)
I think the sweetest/most memorable part of the show for me (and for the girl involved I'm sure) was when Josh sang a song about watching your loved ones go off to fight in the military (something very near and dear to him). Well - during the meet -n-greet before the concert - he met this girl - who found out she's being deployed to Iraq in a couple of weeks. For tonight - he dedicated the song to her - and all the others who may be leaving in the near future. She was in the front row (or she made it up there during the song, not sure which) and the last like 2 verses of the song - Josh was on his knees holding her hand singing to her while she was litterally bawling her eyes out. When the song was over - he gave her a hug and a kiss - sorry - very touching moment for me...and Yes, I am a sap :P
If anyone is interested in seeing pics from tonight (more Josh than Brad I think - but I have both) (I was second row - I could feel their sweat dripping off them :P) let me know and I'll set up a photo album to let you all see them. :)
