View Full Version : My NYC Pix
My boyfriend and I have been playing tourist this month. We went to see the NYC waterfalls last week and today we went to see the Intrepid, which I was excited about since I got to see my 2nd favorite aircraft (Blackbird). Below are a few pictures...

Great pictures! I love the pic of the bridge!
Maybe one day I'll get to see it :)
Thank you. I took the 2 pictures of the bridge with my cell. I didn't think they would come out that nice.
Yup! You really need to come and visit. Just pack your own lunch when you come. Lol. The food is experience in the area where all the tourists go. I do know a place where you can get a slice of pizza for $1, though.

My parents went on a cruise recently and they had to go to NY and they said it was soooo expensive. A bagel and cream cheese was like $8.00!! A small bottle of water was $2.00.
Bagel and cream cheese for $8?? Where the heck did they go?? Lol! I've never seen that. I think they were exaggerating a bit there. Unless the person selling it to them was ripping them off since they were tourists. A bagel with cream cheese is under $2-$3 and that's depending where you go because you can find it for cheaper.
Would you put your faith and stomach for a $1 pizza?
Yes. I've eaten there quite a few times and they are good. They did it for promotion since the place was new (and everywhere else had risen their prices due to the economy), but then they decided to keep the special since they became quite the popular spot. They were also featured on the food network (I think... either there or the news. I can't remember) Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's bad. lol

I can relate, I visit NYC several times a year. Times Square (Manhattan) area is rediculiously overpriced. I once paid $4 for a bottle of water.

Those are great pics! I've always wanted to go to NY, it's on my list. This past June we went to LA, I fell in love with it. Next is NY!

It was at a hotel restaurant in Manhattan. Could have been an exaggeration I suppose! lol.
NYC is definitely on my bucket list!
Yeah... those places have things a little more expensive especially Times Square like Stephanie pointed out.
