I Can't Believe It...

(I didn't know where to post this but...) I got a call late last night from my mom saying that my dog had got out of the house and my lil niece went chasing after him and she stopped when she saw a car coming and that car hit my dog and he died 10 mins later :( My lil sis saw what happened too...I feel so bad...dogs become part of your family and now everytime I go over there I won't be walking through the door and seeing a little dog jumping in my arms :( We have another dog who has lost interest in life and I'm worried...so I guess what I'm asking for is to keep my family in your prayers in this tough time:unsure:

I'm so sorry. Dogs are always part of your family. I can't imagine how your little sister must feel. Poor little thing. And I feel awful for your other dog. Just give him all the attention you have give right now. He's mourning the loss of his bestfriend too.

I am so sorry for your loss. A pet is just as much part of your family as humans. I know when I lost my dog a few years a go, I was devastated. It takes time but you have to just remember them for the loveable little creatures that they were and remember how special they were and still are.

I am so sorry for your family :( I will be thinking about you. We had to make the decision to put our family dog to sleep this summer because he had cancer and radiation was not helping. It was the hardest thing that I have had to do thus far in my life....
